Um, this is going to sound odd, but S Class Wonderful Chocobo + S Class Black Chocobo + Zeio Nut does make a Gold one, right? I know it did the last couple games I've done it, and I'm sure the hundreds of guides on the subject are right, but...it's not working. Is this a bug or something? I've noticed a lot of glitches this time around, and it's really starting to get on my nerves
 Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or if I need to just start the game over, or what? Thanks in advance! -------------------- "If everything's a dream, don't wake me..." |

Well, that is what you need to do. Make sure that the yellow chocobo is indeed wonderful, and just keep doing more of the same. The combination does not have a 100% success rate, so you could be just having a run of extremely bad luck.

From personal experience, you probably will go mad.
 But if I recall...the Wonderful has to be a female. So if you have a male that might be messing it up. Out of the dozens of gold chocobos I've bred I've never had anything else but a gold when I bred the black and yellow. Good luck! -------------------- "Shut up. Well then, our games are very different in that respect, since my Wonderful chocobo has always been the male. And, I too have always gotten nothing but golds, save this time. Ugh, they're ebil. I keep getting either a black one, or a regular (likely Wonderful, not sure) one. No golds. Well, I guess it doesn't matter. The only reason I've bred them was for the KOTR materia, and that was only because I...like looking at it  Well, thanks. I doubt anyone else has any insight into this, so...that's the end of this thread. I must say, since this whole thing started, I've developed a taste for chicken  Again, thank you for trying to help.
