I recently came across my old tekken case and saw a character on the back called "Dragon". Now i thought there were only 18n character's in the game, and i got them. My question is who is he? a screen shot error? a joke? a super hiddin character? a "send your game to us we'ill put'em in there" character?.
If anyone nows anything please tell me. I know what your talking about, it's like Marshall Law but instead it's name is Dragon. There was a rumor about a code that unlocked him, but given Namco and how they're not known for using straight button-sequences to unlock things, it's more than likely bogus.

Oh baby, I can't wait for Tekken for the PSP. That will be the PSP's best game, I'm sure, and I'm going to love it. Can't wait!
And they have a cool chess game coming out at the same time for the PSP, nice! It's battle chess, 3D effects and everything, I love a bit of chess, lol. As to the original question, the only Tekken I didn't own was the original, and I'm not one of those people who must get every single game to a series or whatever (lucky me), thus I don't care. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |

Well im bored at work so i looked it up
http://www.tekkenpedia.com/wiki/Tekken#Unlockable_Characters it doesnt say anything about a Dragon and that site lists all the characters and has bios on them -------------------- Sata Tsubasa no Tenshi- Barret - "Cloud the group has been talking and we feel that its time for a new leader." Cloud - "Judas explain your treachery!!" Some people say its sad when I can walk them through FFVII in my head. I call it a gift. |

It also doesn't say anything about "Devil kazuya" and he is unlocked by beating the game with Heihachi. So it is not proven that this "Dragon" is not an Unlockable character.

Mayhaps tis an olde screenshot? It was probably the original name for the character and was changed at the last minute, but the screenshot (from an earlier version) was included on the cover art.

noo....I am saying that maybe that is what it is. Developers make mistakes at times, nowhere do I say that I have any information as to who or what this is. I am simply trying to find an explanation that makes sense.
I think, and maybe I should have clarified earlier, that 'Dragon' was what they called Law in the development stages, before everything was finalized. They were probably doing a graphics test and took screenshots to use on the cover art. These screenshots generally come from the 'beta' version of a game. They probably changed the name due to the obvious similarities between Law and Bruce Lee. Maybe they didn't want to offend his family or fans or whatever. This is the scenario that makes the most sense to me. I don't think a character could exist in a game that is nearly ten years old without someone having a way to unlock him/her/it. It's like the Mortal Kombat 2 thing, on the pit 2 stage there is a character in the background on fire, people thought he was playable, when in reality the developers used a scaled down liu kang and set him on fire, merely as a backdrop for the stage, and probably as a joke to keep gamers playing the game in order to find this 'mystery character'.
