I made an effort to draw Kadaj, but it ended up not looking anything like him. And my scanner didn't do very well with it so some of the lines faded as well as the shading

It really isn't bad at all, bar the right eye. I understand you wanted to make it so that the bang covers the eye, but it isn't completely 'on' it, if that makes sense. Maybe moving it right a little? Other than that, pretty cool.

If the shading scanned better, or the shading was darker where the hair covers his right eye, it wouldn't be so bad at all.

I see what might be wrong with it, but i can totally tell kadaj. Nice work imo.

Yay I love Laguna! Yeah, usually what I do is shade the lips completely and not use any lines. But because it wouldn't of shown up right on scanner I had to put some lines in there. As for the eye, it is there on my drawing but you can't see it on here so I agree he does look like a pirate lol

Never be afraid to go too dark!
 Dark values are important, and they make it look more dramatic.It looks good, the shapes and proportions are well done, but it looks like you smudged it. Smudging is a no-no, refrain from doing so! Unless you use one of those smudging sticks, those are amazing... -------------------- You're telling me that there's no hope. I'm telling you you're wrong. |

I have no other way of shading besides to smudge and than define the lines as best as possible. I want a smudge stick
