Most of those things didn't surprise me too much. The only thing that got me was the esper-human thing with Terra, because until that point, it seemed the espers were magical beings that were biologically incompatable with humans, like a donkey and a monkey.

It's been so long since the first time I stuck the cartridge in my SNES and turned on the game...I can't even remember what surprised me the most anymore...rather sad huh

Nothign really surprised me in FFVI. All of those above points where all pretty much natural progressions of the plot...

So donkeys and monkeys are magical beings? ... In any case, I really didn't see it coming when the world was actually destroyed. The first time I played the game I seriously thought I had done something wrong during the floating continent scenario and had gotten the "bad ending" or something. Then some of my more experienced friends reassured me that I was on the right track after all and that my restarting the dungeon over and over wasn't helping anything. -------------------- |

I voted for the world getting destroyed but i have 2 shocking moments.
1.Is the above 2.Terra is a human and Esper 3.I have one for one thats not up there,Maduin being Terra's dad and you get to use him! It would be cool if he was like a secret esper or a powerful one,or if they gave the elder a name he would be almighty This post has been edited by Dragon King on 1st May 2006 20:24 -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. I was surprised at Gestahl's fooling. I tought the game was about to end, and I was laughing at my Monitor.
Ok, Kefka's doing's are a far off second. -------------------- Ah, so, yeah, I'm sabinscat's twin, so who cares? Just. Check. This. Out. Invite me [email protected], but tell me who you are. |

The biggest shock was Terra's esper-human thing.
The biggest plot twist had to be when the world was destroyed (then you get to play in the WoR). ... xD |

Quote (Elena99 @ 25th March 2006 16:14) ...when Kefka suddenly attacks Thamasa. I agree with Elena. My biggest shock was when it looked like everything was fine between humans and espers and then Kefka shows up. I mean, I know Gestahl was a bad guy, but you think even he would have had it with Kefka by now. Why on earth did he let that jerk out? He deserves to get skewered! -------------------- |
