I'm having a problem casting Limit Breaks, whenever I do it, the camera angle moves around for a bit, until all characters are unable to do anything and the game just sits there (there is still movement and music). It's only just started happening on Disc 2. Can anyone shed some light on this?

How long have you had your discs?
There are limitless glitches which have appeared on my old discs which sound a lot like this. Once I couldn't ever use Cure 3... weird. Maybe you should try replacing those discs... or use the disc-switching trick. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Whats the disc switching trick? |

I've had a similar thing happen. Only in the mythril mines on disk 1 in battle with
Madouge (the ball and chain enemy) I think the old disk is scratched, and an attack for this enemy won't load... Maybe your disk 2 is scratched? Does this always happen? What system are you running the game on? Which characters are affected? Do you get the red flames from the characters at the start of the limit sequence? That would be a good start... The disk switching trick is when you start the battle, pause, change disk (use disk 3) finish the battle and quickly switch back when the last enemy dies. The system will wait for you to do all this before resuming the game. It also allows all your characters with "regen" status to fully regain their health which is a very small consolation! |

The disc-switching trick:
Open the cd tray/lid and change disc 1 for disc 2 or vice versa when the game isn't loading. This will keep the game going as it normally would but all the cinematic cut-scenes are taken from the disc you have in. Example Outside Midgar, on the world map, change the disc 1 for disc 2. Very easy to do. Benefits If your disc 1/2 is not working (like in your case) yet the other disc is working, you can continue playing the game without needing to buy another disc. Very funny moments in the game due to the cinematics being different. See for yourself. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Infinate really... don't use disc 3 because some writing doesn't appear. But you can switch disc 3 for 1 or 2 no problem.
