If they're going to add anyone else into the mix, I would want -- above Sonic, Megaman, any others -- Geno. I think he would be a perfect character to fit into the game's style, and he would have enough definitive moves to not be a clone of any other characters.

Wayyyy too obscure...but it could be a good fit, I agree.

Makes me feel like playing that game one more time.

Let's be honest. Many characters are obscure in that game, or they were at the time

Obscure characters when SSB and SSBM came (to me)
Captain Falcon
Ice Climbers Nana & Popo
Mr. Game and Watch
Marth & Roy (Let's face it, they were obscure to almost everyone in America and Europe)

And Ness is sortof on the list, except although many didn't know him, I did.

Dead Winter. A nice comic.

The only characters from SSB or SSBM that I didn't recognize prior to playing the game was Mr. Game & Watch and Roy. G&W because I had never played those old games, and Roy because SSBM was the first game he was ever in (SSBM came out before FE6 did in Japan). Marth was put in the game by popular request using the same submission form that they're recommending we use right now, as he's sort of the mascot to a really famous Japanese series, and I had already played FE4 by that time. The Ice Climbers were sort of an obscure name-drop, but I still remember seeing the game playable at the Starland near my house. And Captain Falcon? He's in F-Zero!!! It's a classic!

I'll admit that there are some obscure characters in the SSB games, but it sort of represents Nintendo's legacy. If there were only popular characters and Pokemon then it wouldn't be as fun.

I can't remember where I saw it, but it was a mention of why Geno (nor Mallow) cannot be in a game ever again. I want Geno in, he is awesome, but it's out of anyone's control to have him.

Geno was in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GBA, as a cameo. I dunno where you heard that because there isn't any reason either of them can't. Geno and Mallow are both Square property though, so Squenix would have to want for one of them to be in if either of them made it in.

Way Too Obscure?! Geno is the most famous video game....doll, I guess. Anyway, hes one of the coolest characters ever. Of, course, before him I would definetly put in Mallow, prince of the puffy people (thats an official title, just don't look it up or anything)

But in all actuality, Geno is pretty obscure, which is sad considering Mario RPG is on my top five games of all time list.

Personally i think it's good that they're putting Solid Snake in there but i'm hoping for maybe 1 or 2 non-nintendo characters to be put in.

Personaly I'm not so sure about snake being in ssbb,
Ow well just have to buy it and play as soon as it comes out

Yeah Geno would be awesome. It would be cool if they took someone off a anime show, like Naruto, age doesn't matter for me all that much for shows! But if they did, big mistake,noone likes him.
