My favourite parts are plot points. The Ancient Temple, and the Ancient city. I especially love the music for those parts.

Edit: You can play with just Cloud? How?

I dont think any of that is fun... it took me so long to get that gold chocobo I probably should have ended my life right there on that spot 9 years ago. But, when I finally got it I was quite proud... too bad you couldnt race it against friends. Actually that would've been lame.

What??? No the single Cloud is at the strart and end. I loved the beginning when he's still called Ex-SOLDIER, I got him Finishing Touch at the station before we find his name because it was really cool. Also the end. He takes on Sephiroth (with enhanced graphics) and it also looks really smart. And that's why I voted these parts...

Beating the weapons for the first time, although that was a let down, before when I used to play I could never beat them but like 5-6 years later, I trampled all over them.

I agree, I think I'd call the whole gold chocobo thing tedious rather than fun. The racing was fun the first few times, but after a while, you just want it to end.

It took me a minute to figure out who you are. tongue.gif Rude is around here somewhere, too. Welcome to the CoN.

The story is probably my most favorite aspect of the game. I'm an excellent Chocobo breeder, so the gold one wasn't a biggie. Haven't beat the weapons yet or gotten a character to level 99. Usually when I beat it I just start all over again.

It was a close call between compelting game and getting gold chocobo.

It became completing game.

Getting all the limits or getting all characters to level 99 both seem like completely pointless objectives and I truely don't understand how anyone can derive any satisfaction from doing so. What does it accomplish? Still, each to their own I guess.

My favourite parts of the game are the ones that invoke such strong emotions. Even sadness or fear, simply because no other game has really succeeded in bringing out these emotions in me and this one does it so effectively. Of course you also get so many other emotions from the game that you feel so strongly and that's what makes it so truely amazing to me and ultimately the best game ever.

Definately a masterpiece.

I'm suprised I'm the only one who thinks that playing as only Cloud is the best part... I'm not saying I'm right and your wrong but I loved that so much more than getting a gold chocobo or completing the game. There's nothing quite like the bit in the Northern Crater, when you make every person except Cloud go one way and can play with just him alone. Or the very start of the game when you're still called Ex-SOLDIER - very fun.

But to be honest with you, it was so long ago that I first completed the game/got a gold chocobo that I can't even remember the feeling. Maybe that WAS better...

Yeah I definatly am don't you worry! I'm combining the best of both, completing the game... only as Cloud.

Well, I have too much love for Red XIII and Cait Sith to want to play it with only Cloud. I also love the many plots, twists, and cutscenes that make this game a great one. As for as what I voted for, ordinarily I'd choose beat the game, but I've done it plenty of times and just beating to see the ending is worth it to me, but I voted for gaining everyone's Level 4 limits just for the simple fact that I love Limits, desparation skills, Trance, Overdrive, etc.

As for these choices, I suppose that they're all great, although I haven't tried any FFVII challenges.

I play to listen to the soundtrack, mostly. I find that's one aspect whose shelf life never decreases, and it certainly can't be messed up by any newer titles that splinter off the FF7 name.

Aw, you should work on getting level 99 so you can work on Buster Sword, Bronze Bangle no Accessory Cloud versus the weapons! Much more like it. Sorry I'm sounding slightly snobbish...

Hmmm... a close call. In the absence of the option: "all of the above" I'd say the most satisfying thing was beating both weapons. it ended weeks of dying over and over. there was always going to be a simple, if somewhat repetitive trick to both...Way back last century, before CoN and broadband internet, it wasn't so easy to guess these things. You had to use trial and error.

So - Dragon King, don't feel you need to follow the CoN guide with the W-Summon techniques.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
NOT summoning or using magic on the weapons results in them going easy on you...well - easier at least. As long as you've got time on your hands that is. Emerald won't use Aire Tam Storm...

Otherwise - beating up sephiroph was a complete anti-climax. The only positive thing to say about that is that he gave me my (other) life back.

And as for only using cloud? who'd have thought it cpossible. Especially when he's languishing in the lifestream like the blubbering schizophrenic retard he really is...
Actually, I grew to like the muppet. That's why I fed him every power source (speed, magic etc) to be found in the game, rather than frittering them away on his delinquent friends, who couldn't be relied upon not to get themselves wasted whenever sephiroph showed up, potentially taking your only ribbon in the game away from you...

Yeah i know but this is a kind of game that it's so good i want it to be kinda "perfect" Since it's awesome
Not lvl 99 perfect cus Sephiroth is then harder.

Octoking u better look at my EDIT!

Sorry. I null voted. The best part about it and like any other RPG is an IEMC (Initial Equipment & Materia Challenge). Games can be pretty easy as hell, that I decide to try IEC's so I can actually be proud of myself for beating the bosses with all that hard effort and strategy. FFVII is still pretty easy this way, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have troubles with the weapons and Sephiroth's final forms.

Ah well.
