Nintendo Announces Zelda DS

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS was revealed a few hours ago by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. The game will use an esthetic very similar to Wind Waker, and is a truly remarkable demonstration of the DS's visual capabilities. The linked source has a short trailer and a number screenshots.
To me, this is only another reason to buy a DS. A new Zelda, a new Tetris, a new 2D Mario, a new 2D Castlevania, a new Advance Wars, a "new" Final Fantasy... man I wish I had an income.... Source: some British website, found via Digg -------------------- |

Score one for the DS! Now next they need a new Fire Emblem. That+Sonic+Castlevania+Advance Wars+Zelda+Mario+Mario RPG+Warioware+ \Final Fantasy+other games = I really need a DS!

The only consolation is that I hate hate hate the look of Wind Waker.
I'd like to have a DS, but I don't like that it isn't backwards compatible with GB and GBC games. Really, I'm hoping that the Revolution will have a way to play DS games, or that they'll come out with a new DS model that will be able to play older games. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |
