Then why didn't you post this in the Square Games Discussion Forum instead  I vote short, because I don't like having to press down/up so many times to reach another command. "Short" is alot funner with a joystick or a controller because each command can be reached through one D Pad button. That's why I'm so holy fast in FFV and FFVI =) |

Mmmmm... Maybe it's true that you can go faster by choosing your commands, but I tried it in the short mode and it's a little bit more difficult for me, some times I feel confused and don't find the right button...

Oh, is the "short" mode when the commands are arranged in a diamond-shape?
I never knew of this option until I saw screenshots with it, and I was wondering what "down" and "up" meant in that context. So that means you can just press one of your four buttons on a certain diamond-shaped arrangement of buttons there is on your controller? I've never tried Short (b/c I didn't know what it was). But, hearing about it, it sounds good. I'll have to try it the next time I play
