CHECK A DAMN FAQ!!! Why are you using an FF forum for Mega Man help?

But here it is anyway, as for reasons I don't want to explain I have every single megaman and megaman x weakness table committed to memory:

Cold Man's weapon is strong against Burner Man
Burner Man's weapon is strong against Pirate Man
Pirate Man's weapon is strong against Ground Man
Ground Man's weapon is strong against Tengu Man
Tengu Man's weapon is strong against Magic Man
Magic Man's weapon is strong against Astro Man
Astro Man's weapon is strong against Dynanmo Man, but I recommend you use the Mega Buster to beat him anyway.
And by the way, Dynamo Man's weapon is strong against Cold Man

That's the pattern. You'll probably want to start with Cold Man, but it's also pretty easy to beat the game starting from Ground Man.

Dunno... ain't "general gaming" a pretty... general... term meaning anything goes here?

I've always tried beating each boss using just ye 'ol arm cannon. If you figure out their patterns, they're easy that way. The remaining ones, I just tried whatever I had in stock against them until I found something good enough.

Gotta love the MM series, even though it's been dragging on just as bad as FF. tongue.gif

I tried starting with Ground Man, but I remember that there's a part of Ground Man's stage which involves rising/falling spiked floors/ceilings and obstacles (both walls and blastable things) in a ladder maze course. I couldn't ever make it past the second room of that--what should I have done there?

GMH - it's much easier with Bass, who can duck, but Megaman can handle it fine if you just take it slow and time jump a few times for the room where the spikes come from the floor. It's tricky, but you can get used to it. IMO the only really annoying stage in that game is Burner Man's. I still can't get all of the disks there.

And sorry if I came across and bitchy, but I was just feeling bitchy, and I also found it ridiculous that anyone would go to an FF forum for megaman help. What inspired you to do that, anyhow?

Besides, this is the GENERAL GAMING FORUM... which does mean any and all gaming topics are up for grabs. Maybe he likes FF too, but just currently needs help with Mega Man. Dude.

Sigh.... I guess I may as well keep helping.

You can't touch the monkey; all you can hope to do is avoid his harassment. You have to step onto the platform to raise the cage, and then shoot the little bugger that hides under it, all while dodging the firepower coming from the cage and the monkey dropping junk on you. I dunno if it has a weakness; I just used the Mega Buster.
