oh man, star fox 64 was a classic. that game is awesome! star freakin WOLF was the master. i loved those four bad guys (except pigma, he was a loser), but star wolf, leon, and andrew were tight. i loved how they talked smack to you while you were kickin their asses. lol

I've always been a Falco fan. And I'll add another vote for SF64. The last two have been so dissapointing. I wish they'd go back to the old formula.

Slippy, for sure. My friends and I would totally exaggerate his voice and talk like it all the time, and it became so annoying that people quit talking to us 'til we shut up. That is the true power of Slippy, and his one purpose except for getting blown up.

My favorite would be either the SNES Star Fox or the N64 one. Aw hell, just call it a tie.
I always liked Falco as far as the team itself goes, but my absolute fav is Andross. Dunno 'bout you, but I believe an evil monkey with a giant, buttkicking brain is a force worthy of recognition. 64 was da kang baby. Just for the ID4 level, which I played over and over and over again. It was just the coolest to fly through and all out drag down air battle. I didn't much care for any of the characters really, the anthro thing I thought was designed prett y poorly, but I'd have to prolly go with Andross too just cause he's a monkey and everything is better with a monkey.

I think it's a tie for me. I like the SNES version and the 64 version alike so I couldn't tell you which one is my favorite. I always liked Falco the best as far as characters go. If I really had to chose one then I might say the SNES version since it was the first one that I played.

I always thougth star fox 64 was known as Lylat wars but perhaps I am wrong. Anyway it was my favourite game ever when I was a kid. The bosses in it where so cool. I can remember every single one in my head. And the quotes were awesome like the prologue sequence at the start: Corneria... 4th planet of the Lylat system... The Evil Andross turned this once thriving planet into a wasteland of near extintion.
And the warnings from your team mates: Watch out fox he's right behind you! And the most anoying one by Andrew: UNCLE ANDROSS!!!! But I find slippy to be the most helpful team mate. He gives you the energy bar of the enemy. But Falco and Peppy are just useless all they do is cry for help. *sigh* I wish Nintendo would make another decent Star Fox Game. ![]() -------------------- Seal my fate tonight I hate to have to cut the fun short But the jokes wearing thin let the audience in let my opera begin!-The Phantom of the Opera |

The only ones ive really played were SF64 and the original, a bit of the SF rpg that came out on the gamecube, but I dont own it, and it was sort of disappointing.
Im going to have to go with Gears and say Falco ![]() I always though Slippy and Peppy were annoying, and Falco always seemed to take less damage then the rest of them, netting me a higher score ![]() -------------------- Quote <FrPhoenix[Around]> "Burgleburgleburgle" |

I loved Starfox 64. It's still one of my favorite games. The gameplay was excellent, the level design was inspired, and the kill-tracking medals system added plenty of replay value. The Zoness and Area 6 stages are still incredibly fun to play, thanks to the clever shooter mechanics and the massive number of enemies on-screen.
Favorite character? I choose Peppy, if only for his hilarious suppliance of frantic in-game tutorial. "DO A BARREL ROLL!" "USE THE BRAKE!!!" Quote (The Red Death @ 25th March 2006 16:51) I always thougth star fox 64 was known as Lylat wars but perhaps I am wrong. On the contrary; you're halfway right, Red Death. Y'see, the European title of Star Fox 64 is "Lylat Wars". As a similar note, the title of the SNES Star Fox game was also changed in Europe - to "Starwing". -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will.
