I have a question. I was looking around Ebay for some Jap imports of some of my favorite games and I was wondering if it was possible for me to translate them or something like that into English using some path or w/e. This is probably a dumb question but I just want to know. Thanks.

Well, to do that, you'd have to dump the ROM, apply a patch, and write it back to the cartridge. This involves the use of a copier device, which can be costly.

This assumes you're talking about an oldschool system.

If it uses CDs/DVDs, you'd have to do about the same but you'd just need a CD/DVD burner that can copy games for those systems. This will probably require a mod chip. And finding patches for PSx/XB/whatever games is VERY hard because very few people want to get involved in working with such big files. wink.gif

Hallelujah!

So it's actually possible. But do you know how much they cost and where I can find this kind of device? I already sold my PlayStation and my games for 45 bucks and I already have the required patch for the rom and all, but I'd like to know the site or some store for me to purchase it from.
