There was another thread on this, many moons ago, but it was very old so we'll let it slide.  If I remember correctly, the 5000th post occured in it.

I'm told the movie slots in before Session 23, which makes sense really.  And yes, even though I've only seen some cruddy fansub, it was superb.  Continued the dramatic and musical excellence of the series very well.

Now I just have to wait for it to get the heck out of your cinemas so I can get the dub on DVD.

Am I thinking of a different anime or don't they already have two movies?

Edit
Yes, you are thinking of a different anime. - Tiddles

Are you guys talking about Cowboy Bebop, Knockin on Heaven's Door? I saw that movie in raw Japanese. I haven't seen it in subtitles yet. My anime club (which I'm the president of) had a showing of that. We rented out a local theater and showed it all day long for free. Cool, eh?

I remember that.  I made a poster for it even.  I remember the president (when I was going there) talking to a Suncoast manager and just blowing up when he asked why it wasn't subtitled.  During the entire rant, I don't think she ever actually said 'because we don't have a subtitled version'.

I so wanted to go and see it, but something kept me from going to see it.  I think it was either a) I was already booked from some previous engagement or b) I'd forgotten the day it was going to be shown...

A pity, but then, I don't think it would've been as easy to follow raw as say...Totoro.
