Ok, im going to ask this question, regardless of the fact it may make me look like a total newb
![]() ( I might add, ive played the game to death so i would hate looking like a newb ![]() But how exactly, is the amount of time it takes to make a jump calculated? Does the jump take effect during the persons next AT or what? Unlike spells and ablilites the Jump command doesnt tell you how many turns it will take to land, im just curious because i want to make better use of the command. (ie use the command in such a way that my enemies wont move before the jump occurs, and if I know that they can/will, just attack instead.) -------------------- Quote <FrPhoenix[Around]> "Burgleburgleburgle" |

If memory serves the person should land the next time it's their turn.

Actually, that's not necessarily the case. If I recall, the Lancers Jump charges at a rate of twice his/her speed....
So, if your character has 11 speed, then it will charge at 22 per clocktick and go off in 5 (Jump speed isn't affected by haste) |

Haste doesnt affect a characters speed (stat) anyway so thats logical.
But I'm confused as to how your math works, So tell me if im right here: "a speed of 11 gives you a charge rate of 22 per tick and so it goes off in 5" does that mean a speed of 5 would give you a charge rate of 10 and go off in 10? or 25 speed would give you a rate of 50 and go off in 2? or a speed of 50 would give you a rate of 100 and go off right away? ![]() It sounds logical, seeing how is ive had Lancer jump before there next AT before, but if its based on speed using yell (or Ninjas with jump haha) wouldnt be a bad idea ![]() -------------------- Quote <FrPhoenix[Around]> "Burgleburgleburgle" |

Correct, if you had a speed of 50, your charge rate would be 100 and therefore, instant. A speed of 10 will jump in 5, 13 will jump in 4, 17 will jump in 3, 26 in 2, and 50 in 1.
Using ninjas with jump is therefore quite nice, as they can generally reach 17 speed quite easily and if given equip spear do equal damage to Lancers in half the time |
