Hm. Well I've been playing a lot of FFIV Advance recently, and a decent amount of Diablo II, too (I'm on ladder now if anybody wants to play sometime. DiCesare is my account).

However, SSBM has been my main focus over the past while. I have gotten incredibly good with Bowser now and I've even entered tourneys with him and done very well. I love going into tourneys and using Bowser, beating a particularly good Marth or Fox and then just watching as everybody stares in disbelief as I KO him time and time again in a single combo. happy.gif My last tournement, everybody applauded for me after a very close match I lost against a Marth. Hahaha.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner: Naoh Itoh

Long title, I know, but I'm going for the long haul this time. I lost my previous save file that was on its way to powerplay. Already this new file I'm on has passed it in every way.

Shin Megami Tensei II

Currently on hold in the final dungeon. Like a moron I cheated max stats without realizing that leveling up prompts a screen which cannot be left without alloting stat bonuses to [an already loaded] grid. Until I hack the experience to refute leveling up, I might revert to an actual save file instead of a savestate.

Xenogears

Currently in backseat. I tried continuing it, but I got lost in a dungeon by not knowing whether I activated an event switch or not. This current save file is my second and *perfect* playthrough.

I'm replaying Wild ARMs 4, and I probably should get on some of the other PSX games I've bought but haven't tried to beat all the way through yet. Game's not as good as WA3, I'd say, but it's got its own vibe and I can dig it. I wish the world map weren't flat, though. WA3's exploration parts cultivated difficulty and fun, and just walking along the dots a la FFX is a step down. =/

FFIV Advance because I need to finish Edge and Kain's Lunar challenges. Any tips for Kain's? That Lunar Bahamut is very hard.

Mario RPG is a Rom that I just got. The music is catchy and the gameplay is fun. Mario and Mallow are at level 7 and are talking to Frogfucious.

Earthbound Zero is almost done (I'm at Mt. Itoi), and I'm currently playing the patched up ROM of Fire Emblem Sword of
Seals.

[EDIT]Bigfootmike, the technique is handy, but it came a bit late. All I have to do in the game is finish Edge's mission and beat Brachradious and Zeromus EG.

I have had no interest lately on playing non-FF games as Smackdown vs. Raw, MK: Deception and others have been relatively un-touched in a while. Lately, I've been primarily playing FFT and FFVII. I'm debating on myself whether or not I should resume my games on FFI or FFII from Origins...

i was playing star ocean till the end of time, killing those things on the last floor of the final dungeon for money. i was also trying to kill gabriel, hes pretty tough. (how will i ever beat lenneth, or frei for that matter?!)

i also started playing radiata stories, which is really fun, even though some of the battle voices get annoying...

i also got a little farther in ffX, i should train more...

i'm pretty busy in rpgs right now! tongue.gif

Guilty Gear Isuka : I have always been a fan of Guilty Gear, but in this sequel, they added a notable twist, four players, and you actually have to manually turn around. Which hurts this game, if you get used to it, though, it still is lots of fun happy.gif .

Shadow Of The Colossus : I have finally picked up this game and, I gotta say, it blew me away, the game has a surprising plot twist in the end.

THen I'm also on Legend of Mana.

I'm getting back into Disgaea, finally finishing it two weekends ago. Now I'm trying to powerlevel a bit to beat some of the postgame, and I'm just marvelling at how wonderfully hardcore and fun this game is. Once I get bored I'll probably start up La Pucelle: Tactics.

I'm getting back into the Dragon Quest VI rom I downloaded ages ago, and it's coming along decently. It's way more similar to DW VII than to others in the series, which is good or bad, I guess, depending on preferences. I still think that IV and VIII are the best in the series.

All of the Mother 3 talk I've been hearing inspired me to finally download a translated rom of the NES original. I've played the game for maybe ten hours over two weeks, and it seems like I'm almost finished. This is either a very short game or it's very good at disguising how long it actually is.

I started Shadow of the Colossus two weekends ago, and I finished it in two days. It is a really short game, but oh man is it awesome. The game is sort of like Ico, which I really liked, but with better controls, more original and entertaining mechanics, and absolutely beautiful visuals and scale. Now I can't decide whether this baby, RE 4, DQ VIII, GoW, or DMC 3 is the best game of 2005. They're all so good.

Edit
I forgot about Resi Evil 4 when I wrote the last two sentences, so I put it in. Of those five games, I've definitely played RE 4 the least, but I can understand why everyone loves it so much. From what I could tell, most if not all of the hype it's received is well-deserved.

PC: Black and White 1, until I get a new graphics card for 2,
GTA: Vice City

PS2: GTA: San Andreas, decided to start again, as I often do.
THUG2,
Harvest Moon, I'ts a wonderful Life SPECIAL EDITION!!!, I didn't even know this existed, so I bought it, as I do not have a gamecube.

PS1: FF8, FF4&5, too scared to start FF7 (sounds weird right? I don't know why either. I think I'm craving for a guide deep down, as I like to collect the guides for my games. I have the guides for 9, 10, and 10-2, but not 7 or 8, as I got them too late after release for the guides sad.gif, I want them too...)

SNES: not much at the moment, but the odd pinch of this great Mario compilation cart

I want to get the old consoles, and games, and guides. Too bad I wasn't born in Japan in 1979, that way I wouldn't miss much, and I'd get to eat a lot more sushi...

Also I'm poor.

So how are you?

I finally picked up Shadow of the Colossus today, and so far, it's marvellous. It kinda throws you right into the first Colossus, and to that extent, I found it kinda disconcerting, but when I figured out what I was meant to be doing, well, I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun in a game. It's suprisingly exciting, being tossed around and scrambling for the weak point, and in terms of how rewarding it is, it's unparallelled, but my favourite aspect is definitely figuring out just what needs to be done so you can start your ascent. Just the scale of it is jaw-dropping, really.

That's funny.
I was actually just trying to decide whether to buy Legendia or Grandia III. I've pretty much decided on Grandia, but I'd like to know a little more.
Anyone can see that its incredibly gorgeous, but how does it all stack up? Is it really as short as the reviews say? How's the fun factor and difficulty? Bonus dungeons? Sidequests?

Thanks for anything you can tell me.

Playing FFIX now, just so I don't waste all my free time sitting around, and then I bought Wild ARMs 2 today, so I'll probably be kicking that around and seeing if it's as good as the WA fans have been saying it is. Only completed two-thirds of the prologues so far.

I'm currently playing the following:

Breath of Fire - I had beaten the game before, but because I can't remember what happens at the end of the game, I'm replaying it. I'm not too far into it, although I've been playing for numerous hours so far, but it's made me want to play II - IV whenever I get the chance to do so.

Front Mission 4 - I keep putting it off, mainly because each mission takes so long to complete, and because I tend to do the simulations a lot between each mission to make sure that I'm able to beat the next one (since I don't want to get 40 minutes into a mission then die, having to redo it over); but it's still a good game. The plot lacks a little, but the typical tactical-rpg battle system is still always fun.

Final Fantasy X - Beat the game before. Replaying it to actually "complete" the game. I've already got all of the hidden Aeons and almost maxed out the Sphere Grid for each character, but I have yet to complete the Butterfly mini-game for Kimahri's Sigil (only Celestial Weapon I have left to get his his and I can't beat that damn thing...). I also am working on getting 10 of each monster in the Monster Arena because I want to fight Nemesis (and hopefully beat him).

Xenosaga Episode II - Just doing the Epilogue stuff. I quit playing for a bit because the game was lagging, but now that I've fixed the problem I've started to play it once again.

I'm currently playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for the DS. This game is INCREDIBLE. I know its not quite what I expected. A lawyer game? Er, okay...

But it is SO much fun. Is it the music or the way Phoenix points and yells "Take that!" as he nails Edgeworth with that critical point of the case? I dunno, but it works. Buy it. I promise, you wont be diappointed.

I've wanted to get that game! It looks like alot of fun, since I'm a Law & Order addict. Well, I want to get a DS, but still...tongue.gif

There seem to be alot of really great games for DS. That's good...

I'm doing all the side-quests in FFX now, abusing the Don Tonberry trick to get over a million AP a battle tongue.gif biggrin.gif (I'm running out of Power Spheres...)

I stopped playing Radiata Stories, I need to start up again. I didn't get very far anyway tongue.gif

And I still can't beat Freya on SO3. The retarded shopkeepers refuse to sell any more Shielding Devices or Healing Device Mk2s. I guess I'll just start cranking them out with Meryl, though buying them would be alot more convenient.

And, an old favorite, FFIV. I never got through the Chronicles version, since I got side-tracked by Advance, but I just love that game so much I'll do yet another play-through tongue.gif

The wonder of RPGs...
