if u had to pick any other character from any final fantasy game to add to tactics, who would it be?personally,id add sephiroth, setzer, squall, cecil, and vincent. And yes, they would all join ur party, just at different points in the game.Like, setzer, would join ur party in chapter 2 when u go to warjills trade city to meet with delita.U could get cecil at the start of chapter 3 when u go to lesalia to meet with zalbag.U could get squall when u go to rescue rafa at yardow, and vincent also. And in chapter 4,after u get cloud,u can get sephiroth after u fight worker 7 at nelveska temple. All of it sounds soooooo cool

I'd like to play Seifer, Kuja, Sephiroth, any of FFVIII's sorceresses, and Beatrix as an excuse to play FF villains (or non-main characters) as main characters. I really like the gunblade from FFVIII 'cuz it's so cool and I prefer Seifer over Squall anyday.

I'd love to see Red XIII made to fit in the FFT world. Maybe a sprite swap of a Vampire, with a little frills around the edges in the form of tattoos, a mane, and those little feathers he wears around. S'pose he'd have to have a new weapon class, though, and that always complicates things (unless it's bare-pawed punchin'). Well, his skills would be very transferable, and I'll bet some of my ol' favorites (Lunatic High, Earth Rave, Howling Moon) would look pretty nice in half-bitmap, half-animation-type of situations.

Sabin. I'm thinking his base class could be something like "Brawler" or "Black Belt", essentially a super-monk with inherent Martial Arts and FFT translations of all of his Blitz techniques. I'm thinking Fire Dance could be a self-area technique like most of the Draw Out spells, AuraBolt a line damage attack like Earth Slash, Mantra a healing self-area technique, and Bum Rush dealing ludicrous damage to a single enemy (I'm thinking along the lines of 32*PA). All of course without MP costs and maybe some tiny charge times (otherwise Bum Rush is almost unfair).
As to weapons and equipment, Sabin should probably be sort of a Monk version of Cloud - can only equip clothes and ribbons (no hats or helmets). Because he's a monk, I suppose he shouldn't be able to equip any special weapons, other than maybe a special Prf weapon like the Materia Blade - I'm thinking Tiger Fangs. -------------------- |

Well, it's probably not the best of ideas but if I were to add one it would most likely be Sephiroth. Simply because it makes sense seeing as they already have Cloud, Aeris (I think. She'd be the flower girl if I'm right), and various Materia all inserted into the game already. After all, one might as well have fun with an extra special event to help tie it all together and give it a cohesion, which with as far as I've seen, isn't really there at the moment. Juust a little extra special event, combining all of the references together would've made them all that much funner and more complete feeling. As things are, I feel like they're just there, but I think with a cleverly done Sephiroth special event that might've been different. Then again probably not.
Other thoughts that come to mind are Terra (could easily be a potential party member who's initially confused for a Zodiac Demon), Mog (My thoughts on that are a long stretch you probably dunwanna hear), Kain (his dark foreboding style of falling prey to temptation fits in perfectly with the FFT world plus an enhanced jump wouldn't be that hard to implement) and several others who make little to no sense at all. These would probably just end up being not so great of an idea in practice though, but like I said, they're only thoughts. Buuut overall, I think FFT I think is really better as a standalone game. There was lots of cameo work but I think it really pushed what could be done without ruining the overall appeal of the atmosphere. I think there is a little bit of room for a little bit leeway though. -------------------- |

Squall! He's the most badass good guy in my opinion, second only to Cloud of course. He would be cool in FFT. Also Cecil as a dark knight and Kain. They are also huge badasses. And a little bit of Auron could be nice too.

![]() I think it would just be intresting to see a Starting class with Monk ablities, and special monk-type attacks ![]() -------------------- Quote <FrPhoenix[Around]> "Burgleburgleburgle" |

I'd like to see Setzer thrown in the mix. He isn't really one of my favorites, but he would have a unique skillset that could be quite fun to mess around with

well, I think like to have
Marshe: another main character who has a bounty on his head. Yuffie: would it be fun to equip Shurikens as weapons? Gau: at least he would use some of the monster's attacks against them. Terra: strong magic user Elko: she's a good healer after all. |
