I am currently doing a bersker SCC and have finally gotten to Sand Worm, which as some of you know and others can guess can be bothersome when using berskers due to the fact that the holes cast demi when hit. Anyway, I am currently using death scythes and have noticed hat when they cast death on a hole the hole casts demi once instead of twice. Has anyone noticed it casting twice when other weapons are used?

I remember that effect when I tried the Mage Mashers on them to see if I could mute them and prevent them for retaliating with Demi. As far as I can tell, they use Demi to counter-attack any spell/attack used on them. Since you hit them both physicall and with a magic spell, they would counterattack twice.

Moral of the story: don't hit them with the Death Scythe or Mage Masher.
