I was at the part where Locke and the other Moogles protect Terra, and inside a battle, I killed that Mammoth or w/e monster that uses Blizzard and after that wolf used "Tusk" it flashed the wolf. Then, like 3 seconds later "Tusk" was used again but it wasn't coming from that wolf or any other monster.

Its the unheard of, dreaded monster that so rarely appears!: The Phantom Tusk! *gasp!*
But yeah, that's rather, well, odd... I've never seen anything like that happen in any FF game I'm played, let alone VI - although, I've not really played VI extensively, but I think I will be soon. I'll watch for that too. Was it PS, SNES or a ROM? -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! Greg |

That's no bug. Lobo's attack script has a chance to use Tusk twice in one turn when a character is above a certain level. Monsters only flash for their initial attack; combination strikes don't do that for subsequent maneuvers.

They're called Mag Roaders, plain and simple. If you're playing a re-translation, it's always good to mention that.
The only Mag Roaders that use Fire Ball are the brown ones, which use the spell when they're alone. There's nothing counter-ey going on there. -------------------- |
