the whole ending battle (jenova synth, bizarro, and safer sephy) was really boring. I thought it was going to be hard so i got master summon and w-summon but didn't even bother to use them.just hit them with 4x cut then mimed it.
now going back and seeing if i can do a no controller mode to kill all three/four of em. might use kotr on jenova just so they have more hp. |

-------------------- Those who encounter me are also the ones that return to the city without they're armies I alone can beat all who oppose me. Trox lvl 99 |

Quote (Moglv99 @ 28th December 2005 19:54) When I defeated Safer Sephiroth, I thought this was supposed to be the hardest battle. Sephiroth attacked first, and I was impressed because I parry to see what he got, and he dealt to me around 5500 damage!!! , and I defended!! , well of course Cloud counterattacked, and the fight was over. I've heard that its impossible to lose this fight, no matter what. Yeah, fully impossible. It's scripted that way. Sephiroth's attack isn't a regular physical attack, it deals fractional damage (Ã -la Demi/Quarter/etc.) Therefore, Cloud will NEVER die from an attack by Sephiroth. He'll just be left within an inch of his life (for the sake of making things dramatic.) What happens then? Sephiroth's script takes control of Cloud and makes him use Omnislash. End of battle. If Cloud attacks? End of battle too. Sephiroth counters with his death animation and the battle ends. I forgot if Cloud's HP is restored or not in the last fight (should be, otherwise you'd be screwed if he died in the previous battle) but if not, and he's at exactly 1 hp, the attack would probably kill him. Or maybe not, I'm not sure. Sephiroth's script literally takes control of Cloud and forces him to use an attack (omnislash.) IIRC, this is the only place this particular command is used in all of the enemy AI scripts, so I'm not sure exactly how it behaves and wether the character has to be alive or not. A mystery? ![]() -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Maybe if HP are at 1, the attack will be !0!, but I don't think so, Cloud's HP are restored, they always are full when I fight LastSephiroth

the final fight was nothing in the first place if you took the time to beat all the weapons... you mihgt as well just start the game over again cuz youll just be plain disappointed in the final product minus the fact that the end sequence is jesus on a TV screen
