Helpin' people with games/messageboard-related stuff, or seeing others go out of their way to help people. It's so easy to just berate and ridicule people for grammar and such, but it seems so incredibly difficult for people to just answer the person's question without any tinges of inferiority. That always pleases me. Besides that, little kids having fun, seeing people enjoy their time without stress, and light rainfall always pull (out) a few heartstrings.

Getting compliments on the job we do here at CoN. This site trumps all the real-world experience I have, which honestly can be pretty thankless a lot of the time.

Music; little can make my day that much better like music can. No matter the situation, a favourite song will always cheer me up.
Making people laugh. I'll go as far and be as arrogant as to say that a fair few people around school consider me pretty funny, and it's just great to spend time with friends sitting around, making jokes. Money, yeah. Buying things is all well and good, but it's nice to have a fat wallet sometimes. Though, actually, those times are becoming far rarer. Late night Christmas shopping. It's just nice, from the lights to the general feeling of wellbeing. Also, when they give out free soup. When you help someone out, and they actually appreciate it, especially online. I know that a good deed is supposed to be thankless or whatever the saying is, but it makes me feel all bubbly inside to recieve a simple PM saying 'thanks' or whatever. A good breakfast. |

Quote (Sabin @ 5th December 2005 17:37) I love poetry. A nice glass of scotch. And of course, my friend Baxter here. Yeah? Well now THIS happens: Sports, my entire life revolves around sports pretty much, Chicago to be exact. I'm an ESPN addict, and will wait to go to dinner just to hear a 2 minute snippet about Da Bearss/Bullss/Cubs. Chinese Food Good Food in general Hot Fudge (I once went to OCB and got a plateful of bacon, followed by a bowl filled with just hot fudge for dessert...and no, I'm actually only 150). Captain and pepsi. Also owning in quarters (the drinking game with shot glasses, not the retarded spin the quarter so I can chuck it at your knuckles to see if I can make you bleed). Setting my alarm, just so i can sit up, stretch, look at the time, and go right back to sleep. Sleeping is fun. -------------------- The clouds ran away, opened up the sky And one by one I watched every constellation die And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star I should've known, walked all the way home To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone -Atmosphere "Always Coming Back Home to You" |

A few random things:
Spending times with friends, especially my closest friends. People being naturally friendly. When you can get several people doing that in the same place, it's just great. Everyone smiles and enjoys each others company. Some people pretend to be friendly for some reason... ![]() Tasty food, I love tasty food. I love to laugh as well.
