Once again i need help due to lack of brain matter.

how do you get the materia blade? i couldn't find it on the site. all i found was that it was at some volcano, but i don't think that volcano is on my map yet. i did the cloud sidequest immediatly after defeating aladremek(or whatever his name was). do you get the volcano on the map later?

okay,acctualy it was on the map ( i should really stop drinking the goop out of the stress balls) but once i go there, what do i do?

You need someone with good jump and move/find item, and get them to the very top of the volcano. I can't remember the exact jump number right now, though, sorry.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

A Jump stat of 4 is sufficient, but you could also add the Float status to your item-finder if you prefer. Rafa with Germinas Boots cen get every items in the game, for that matter (except for the two atop the pillars at Nelveska Temple, where you need to bring in either Reis or Worker 8).

Also, for good measure, make sure you enter from the north so that your party starts right next to the volcano spout. Since there's a death sentence trap under there, if you reset, you're not also resetting a long trek across the non-lava panels.
