Why dose'nt Megaman reinforce the bottoms of his shoes? There have been spike-traps in Megaman since the first one.

It's in his contract with Capcom that he and Doc Light can't do that. Sorry.

I agree with SilverLance all the way up there. Just forget about all of these things in video games. Did it take you the whole night to realise the favorite games you played have plot holes?.. Seriously, just enjoy the stuff for what it is supposed to be, and that is a GAME.

ANd yes, good guys vs bad guys are dead to the un-meaty bones.

Why is is that in many games, no matter how vast the land, or how outragous your use of time travel, everyone uses the same language, (I'm looking at you Chrono Trigger) and currency? (A few exceptions such as Secret of Evermore, FF10 etc)

Why on earth would anyone have a fair only every THOUSAND years? And a lame fair at that. Shame Chrono Trigger, Shame.

Why, when someone is sick, injured, or very very troubled, will they not say, "Yo, I'm pretty sick. Maybe we can cure this before I pass out dramaticaly." Or "I totaly think our mission is bogus, and we're only gonna end up screwing ourselves in the end. If you listened to that loudly expositing badguy over there you'll find he feels the same." But instead, when asked what the matter is, they will inevitably respond "Nothing" or any variation on that sentiment, until it ends up revealing itself in a horrible, horrible way?

This one slays me...

If you go to a town to save it from a dragon, how come the innkeeper won't just give you the best equipment from his store... or at least loan it to you? Why does he feel the overwhelming need to make a profit, whereas if you fail, he won't even have a shop? (or oxygen, for that matter)

I doubt it's the innkeeper, but assuming you mean shopkeeper, that probably means that he's just not very appreciative of your services. In real life, you could tie him up and rob him, but that would violate contract with the directing company.

Also, the script writers got too lazy to write something extra for that situation, so blame them...and the programmers, whom we all know don't do a thing because it's actually acted out. Really. By living pixels. Or they just probably couldn't fit that little bit more video footage on a cartridge.

Okay, I did the contract joke twice so far. Let's see how many more times it comes up.

LOL i get the reference thumbup.gif

Here's one: In Star Ocean 2
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
How come Claude doesn't have his gun recharged when he gets to Nede? Or at least, why doesn't he buy one?

Another one: Where DO they put all that stuff? How the hell do 3 or 4 people carry around 99 potions, 12 weapons and armor custom to each character, and a bunch of other crud?

Now the real question: do i really want to know? blink.gif

I've got a few common ones:

Why don't they have a change of clothes, even in FLASHBACKS?
How long do they hold it in?
Do they bathe? (more than once?)
Why is it that the children in most of the games almost never grow up over LONG periods of time?

How the hell does a 3 headed dog get the advantage over Cloud? Why in the heck did I beat him? (kingdom hearts reference)

In most of, if not all, the Suikoden games you can make your characters bathe in the bathhouse. So I guess the only video game characters that don't smell rancid are the characters from the Suikoden series.

Particularily in Windwaker, when Link appears to physically remove his pendant from his backside. thumbup.gif

Why don't those darn princess learn to fight or something. I mean look at princess Peach. You would think that after all those times being abducted, she would learn a martial art, or carry a gun, or at least fight with an umbrella or SOMETHING. Same for Zelda. And the princess in FFI. The list goes on and on.

Princess Zelda gets involved a little bit in the later LoZs. But she still sucks.

She has terrible aim in Windwaker during the final battle with her bow, and hits Link if he's in the way. Sadly, you can't slash her back tongue.gif

Another Zelda tidbit, why is that the Iron boots only make you sink when they're on your feet, but not when you're supposedly carrying them around? Lemme guess: magic.

Why have there been so many Final Fantasies?

Why do you turn into a giant when you leave in a town?

Why does it take so long for my character to swing his sword?

Why, oh, why!? laugh.gif

Edit
Heh. Thought of two more right after I clicked 'Submit.' biggrin.gif

I'm a Red Mage. If you wanted someone to cast Doomsday, you should have hired a Black Mage, and no, I can't cast White Wind, so don't even ask. You'd best NOT confuse me with one of those pansy White Mages, and ask for a fancy Curaga, either.

Because swords are that heavy.

As for another question, though...

How does the "Vampire Killer" whip stretch out straight that tightly and for that long?

Why are there so so many random creatures, animals, people, etc, that want to attack and murder me as soon as they see me for the first time ever and basically attempt to rip me limb from limb?

Is my appearance really that offensive? Has someone been spreading nasty rumours about me? And after stabbing it and shooting it and simply telling it to go away, it still doesn't back down until it's dead...

And how come so many other people walk along the same hill or road and are ignored by these same aggresors?

Maybe random animals and soldiers just want to die attacking heros. Think of all the bodies, urgh...
