I'm starting over to try to collect all of the Zodiac stones anyways I was wondering what the best team for chapter one is for you?
Mine is:
a Ninja lv 23
a Knight lv 20
a Monk with Chemist skills lv 22
and Ramza as a Wizard at lv 25

So what is your starting team?

It varies wildly depending on what I'm planning on making them (or even whether I'm keeping them, if I take Rad, Alicia, and Lavian I drop all but one starting generic), though usually the majority are either some sort of mage or have a magic secondary just because it requires less development to be effective. One thing that stays the same, though, is that I usually hit Fort Zeakden around level 10-11, usually without much trouble. Ramza as a Lv25 Wizard...probably slaughters Algus in one shot, doesn't he?

also, I make Delita a Knight

I keep Ramza and Delita as Squires with White and Black Magic respectively. As for the generics, the set-up that works best for me are having Knights (I love Knights), a Wizard, a Priest, and Monks, Archers, or Theives. As a side note, I level up at a medium pace; not too non-chalantly, but not too high, either.
