Does anyone know if there is some 'version' of FF Tactics Advance as an online game somewhere (unofficial, preferably free, and preferably not forum-based, but still okay if such)?
I happened to be thinking earlier how it'd be pretty cool if there were some virtual world where players could form, manage, and recruit to their own clan, and do missions, except not be limited by the scope of the game (and its sucky storyline). I could easily imagine clan wars, mission bidding, "currently accepting membership applications--moogles only" signs, etc.--interesting stuff like that. I can theoretically picture a human game manager for this, but it'd probably require a team of staffers, since an online game like this could easily involve hundreds of players and resultingly thousands of characters in all the clans combined. Oh yeah, make sure there are laws, not because they're fun (they're definitely not), but because law manipulation by cards is so much fun it more than makes up for the loss of fun due to laws. okay, i doubt FFTA itself will be online, as that's the GBA version. perhaps Square will make a version fro the PSP or DS and make use of Nintendo wi-fi. i'd actually love to see that. i've always wanted to pit my team against other people.

lol, i have been wanting that for a while, so it would be really cool if they made a version on the DS w/ wi-fi so i to could pit my team against others.

from what i have heard there will be a versoin for the ds where you do use wi fi to play against people but when they make it the game is supposed to cost 70 dollars.
the main character you create and everything is alot harder... but that is only what i have heard. -------------------- Why is it that rpg's are now a dying breed? |
