Actually just last week I went on a video game shopping spree of sorts.
DS - Nintendogs: Dachshund and Friends - Really fun and unique game don't let the kiddy image of it fool you into thinking it's only for children. GBA - Breath of Fire 2 (Even though I don't own a GBA I just play this on my DS) GCN - Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem - Really fun game, I LOVE the insanity effects Tales of Symphonia - First time this series has left Japan for LONG time. And it's a GREAT game. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - Remake of the PS1 classic only on the GCN. PS2- Virtua Fighter 4: Evoltuion - Possibly the most boring fighter I've ever played. |

Suikoden IV - Fun game, but never got to play it, saw it for cheap so I had to buy it.
Axis and Allies - What a disappointment, I thought it was a video game based on the board game, when it's actually a WW2 version of Warcraft. Blast it all. ![]() -------------------- "Some fight for justice. Some fight for law . . . . . .Cecil, what will you fight for?" ~KluYa |

PC:
Sanitarium. Not as scary as it was supposed to be, but still kinda fun in a King's Quest sort of way...until my computer shut down before I'd saved and I lost about an hour of play-time. Yeah. PS2: We Love Katamari. Awesome. GTA: San Andreas. Technically, this is a Christmas present for my little brother, but it was used anyway... GC: Eternal Darkness. Haven't played it yet. Resident Evil. Too hard for me. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

Ahhh, I couldn't take having just 2/3 in the collection of availble Advent Children figures, so I went ahead and added Sephiroth to my order. Although his popularity has inflated the price alittle.

I just bought Ninja Gaiden today, actually, so here's my list for the past month or so:
We Love Katamari: Ain't nuttin' better! Xenosaga Episode II: Better than the first one for I have NO idea why. Just loved it somehow. Ninja Gaiden Black: Duh, it's absolutely amazing. -------------------- The island bathes in the sun's bright rays Distant hills wear a shroud of grey A lonely breeze whispers in the trees Sole witness to history ICO-You were there- |

I've bought two new games the past two months, both around the time school started.
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment - found at a Gamestop for twenty bucks, it was factory-sealed too, but I got it at a used price because it was a factory recall (I couldn't believe it when I saw it). Awesome game, everyone should try it if they liked the SMT games. Now there's only three games left on my list of must-own PS1 RPGs ![]() Wild ARMs 3 - found at the same Gamestop for ten bucks, I'm looking forward to playing it, but I haven't started it yet. Neal gave this game a rather enthusiastic recommendation. I don't have my PS1 or PS2 with my at school (yeah, I still own a PS1 even though I have a PS2, go figure), so I haven't played WA3 yet and only got to play Persona 2 for a few hours when I spent the weekend back in NoVA at the beginning of October. When Thanksgiving comes around, those two will get signficant playing time. -------------------- |

My last batch of purchases in terms of videogames included Metal Gear Solid 3, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4. Through my amazing bargaining skills, I was able to obtain a good price out of these three game (close to the price of one new game).

I haven't really bought many new games in awhile. The last one I got was Mario Superstar Baseball, and I have been addicted to it. It's very challenging (to "superstar" all the characters in challenge mode, anyways), but really fun and addictive. There's nothing more satisfying than playing baseball with King Boo, Boo, Pirhana Plant, and Hammer Brother and just putting ball after ball out of the park.
![]() I was considering buying X-men Legends 2, sicne the first was amazing, and I'll prolly buy Mario Strikers (soccer) when it comes out. We'll see, though. -------------------- Is PJ |

My most recent would have to be FFTA for the GBA... Which let me tell you, is a confusing game if you don't have the book that goes with it. I bought it used from Microplay.

I got Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy for the PS2 on Sunday. I did have a quick look at it at work but didn't dig it. Then my mate brought the PS2 version, we started it together and were just utterly blown away. Although abit short, an amazing experience. I love that it gets away with basicly using the Puzzle format of a Point'n'Click game, but all those haters don't notice because all the cool over the top cinematic stuff.

Two days ago I bought SSBM, since I figured I should probably own the game that I've entered tournaments for. Great game. Highly addicting. Ganondorf r0x0rs my s0x0rs, and he's the first one I get. He's my secondary character. The character I'm really good with is...Mr. Game & Watch! He's so random it's impossible to protect against his attacks.
![]() On another note, I just bought a Parduba #5.5 double-cup mouthpiece for my trumpet. I doubt anybody cares, but I have never played so well, consistantly, in my life. I highly recommend them to any brass players. -------------------- Is PJ |

The only recent video game purchase I've made is today, when I bought Star Wars: Battlefront 2. It's very easy to pick up the game as far as I can tell, and for as long as I've played, it's an awesome game.

Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest is the latest game I purchased along with WWE Smackdown vs. Raw. Champions of Norrath is a real cool game with awesome graphics and decent gameplay. The music is great as well.

I picked up the expansion for Rome: Total War last weekend. The selection of new factions serves as a refresher to rekindle interest in the campaign, accomplishing this well. Also, the addition of the new campaign features, such as the new nomadic "horde" factions, as well as in-battle changes such as the ability to swim and to fight night battles cumulatively make the game more challenging and entertaining.

Bought a spare copy of Call of Duty 2 from my friend (long story) a few days ago, and already beat the campaign on normal mode.

I bought 'Tony Hawk's American Wasteland' over the weekend. I'm not into skateboarding at all, but I've pretty much followed the THPS/THUG series and needed something to occupy my interests, something that I'm finding very few games can do these days.

Quote (Narratorway @ 9th November 2005 13:37) Shadow of the Colossus and Guitar Heroes are my recent purchases. Interestingly enough, those two games are on the top of my "get immediately once it gets to a more reasonable price" list. Anyhow, I found Dead or Alive 3 for five bucks and I hadn't played a DoA game since 2 for the Dreamcast, so I decided to buy it. The DoA system is pretty simplistic, but the action is fast and the visuals are great. Probably worth five bucks, but not much more. -------------------- |
