I just beat act I now with my amazon. I am currently level 16. My amazon is really powerful, but I seem to be having trouble with attack rating and life. I placed 2 into dex every level, and I have like an 83% chance to hit a burning dead archer. I don't really udnerstand. I forgot what a good amount of life was for act II, but I have 130 now and I get wrecked if I walk into a group of enemies.

Power Strike rocks my world right now. It adds 1-300 lightning damage...basically, I can kill anything in one solid hit. Andariel took me 7 hits, with my merc shooting her, as well (no I didn't hit her 7 times and wait for the merc to finish her off).

I'll gladly play with somebody today. I don't know when I'll be on but I'll check to see if anybody's on when I join. I found two Cleglaw's Pincers, so somebody can have the extra.

I used to play this (I was always a druid) But I don't anymore. Partally because everyone on there seemed so much stronger than me, but mainly because my father says online games take your soul (thats why I can't play WoW).

Egads, you guys! If ye keep this up, you'll catch up with me higher lvl characters in no time. I jest made a new character a couple nights ago and...well ye can see his progress in me signature.

Cleglaw's...I have the whole set and I've been waiting to give it to somebody who actually wants it. It's not very good, though, not even for a low level set. In fact, I have an extra Sigon's set (sans shield, I think) if anyone wants that.

Anyhoo, I'll probably be playing off and on today, too, so y'all BETTER be on or else... .

I had a Necromancer up there well into Act III, until I lost alla my data. I have a Sorceress that I'm building up and I'll create either a new Necromancer or a Paladin (it's been a while since I slaughtered Baal with one o' these).

I've been playing D2 for atleast 3 years and have only just recently stopped. Since the modem on my good computer is screwed, i cant play MP games, so im stuck with SP... When i get my ADSL up and runnin, i'll shout out to yall. I used to have a load of lvl99 friends on US West with Enigma, dual Grandfathers, Heart of the Oak... alla that crazy runic and elite stuff...

My best character was a Werewolf druid AKA 'Bloodhound'. Max lycanthropy, 5-10 oak sage, 10 feral rage, max fury - By about lvl 50. These druids have HEAPS of health, and use feral rage to drain it all back, meaning they are pretty good 4 hardcore.

BTW, always go ladder! There are certain uniques and runewords only availavle to ladder players! Also, USWEST is best, because theres alot more people, meaning more trades n usefull stuff!

Ladder is only for those who actually have the time to devote to it (probably those who play, like, everyday or something). I, for one, can't do that. Heck, I haven't played in over a week now.

Ye know, I've never played much of the first Diablo game and I've always wandered if there's a difference between D in the first and D in the second in terms of behavior. I figure he might have different attacks and all, but in the second one, he really isn't particularly aggressive. Seems to me he would rather jest skitter about and attack from a distance.

Thought I'd jumpstart this in an effort to get me some partners-

I'm playing on Battlenet East, and have a 42 wind druid. I just hit act 3 on Nightmare. I'm always looking for tanks to run Diablo and whatnot on Normal right now.

I have 150something MF, and it's not alot, but works for the level.

You guys have inspired me to re-connect to Battle.net. I hope I can still use my Lord_Dartagnon username that I've been using since Diablo came out in '96. I may play D1 for the first time in about 7 years, so if you see me on B.net either Diablo, Diablo II Expansion either an open character or I may create a realm character. It's easier for me to play an open character 'cuz 90% of my play time is on Single Player, so I can easily transfer a badass character to co-op with other open chars.

I have 5 or 6 character level 70+ on ladder, USEast, on Diablo II. 3 of my best are in my signiture. My account name is DiCesare so you can add me if you wish. I have AP exams these next two weeks, so I may not be on very much. Right now I'm pretty much looking for leet gear for my characters (errr...more leet gear, since I already have a lot), but I would gladly help a fellow CoN member if needed.

Oh, and don't play open. It's all hackers, basically. And really lame hackers too. I went on open to duel and this one guy had a weapon that had like 64 open sockets, did like 100 damage, added like 500k fire resistance, 5000 poison damage over like 20k seconds, etc. Tons of stupid stats that make no sense at all. He had a level 500 Holy Shock aura, though, which hutr a lot. So I had to use my mod on him and transform into Diablo and use some almighty firestorm on him. I love modding.

Oh yeah a cool trick is to keep on clicking and declicking Dream items on your Act3 merc u can have like a lvl well u name it Holy Shock lvl i just use my poisen nova and lower resist for immunes
