Hey! I was just finished killing off Dycedarg and was wondering what level I should be before I attempt the Deep Dungeon? My characters are all high 40's to early 50's, and my main teams seem to sweep all current battles with no problem. Should I hold off until 70ish, or go now?

Any level is appropriate, really, since the enemies are usually around your level in wild encounters.

I suggest taking at least two healers--Whether it be by magic or by medicine.

Later on in the dungeon, you'll face ninjas; If you have one of your characters with the "Catch" ability (I believe it's a Reaction ability), you can collect some more of those "one-time" items (Well, only of those that can be thrown).

I'm not sure how much of the Deep Dungeon is a mystery to you, so I'll leave it there.

Yeah, I sort of remember it from when I played years and years ago. But, back then I abused the accumlate trick and got to 99 in Chapter 1. :-/.

Thanks! I'll be sure to try and get a Javlin II, I missed it in the Temple.

Eh, I'll pass on that team.

I'm against using the special characters, besides Orlandu.

Beowulf and Rafa start with low brave which also happens to be one of the main reasons to even be in Deep Dungeon. Move-Find Item has a Brave% of missing when you walk over a trap with an item under it, so using them wouldn't be that bad of an option when opposed to lowering characters with already high Brave statistics.

Oh, and Beowulf is very useful, too. Don't forget to experiment just 'cause people have special classes. tongue.gif

Hmp, odd, I went to Waijers but the quest didn't unlock...Weird. Doesn't it unlock right after you beat Dycedarg..?

Nope, you need to have finished all of the fights at St. Murond Temple, but you can't have entered Orbonne Monastery after that (for obvious reasons). The Cloud sidequest has a part that "unlocks" after Igros is cleared, so that may be what you're thinking of.

Oh, and you should just edit your posts. People will holler at you almost assuredly. tongue.gif

Its best to enter tha caves at level 99. It just makes things easier. Oh and on the last floor if you are able to win you get a guest monster.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but I do believe that they (the opposing Ninjas) will only throw items you actually obtained.

However, I cannot back this claim up.

No, this really has nothing to do with it. Don't know where your heard that, but it's a false info.
