So who does she love? Seriously, i totally forgot the game and am playing it over once again though i can play it through at one go (prob take me around a good day) but i got exam coming up so i can't, but i don't think the game made it completely clear. Who does she really love, Celes that is. I mean Edgar or Locke, i'm leaning toward locke right now because in the beginning, Locke said the imperial troops jailed someone special to him or something, and than he rescue Celes in that prison, and before you leave that place, he said she reminded her of something. Anyway, i'm not far enough the game to totally remember everything but i think Celes and Edgar also had something going. I forget. In which class, could someone make it clear? Also who does Terra like? I don't think she loves anyone really, at least i don't recall.

Celes loves locke, and i dont believe her and Edgar ever had anything going, and Terra liked general Leo I think but other than that she only loved the children in Mobliz.

it's never explained who exactly terra likes, but celes loves locke...

at the end scene in the game, Celes walks over to the edge of the airship. Edgar walks up to her and starts to flirt, but she walks away, and over to Locke. Harsh.

I don't really think that Terra was in love with Leo. She says only one thing in relation to Leo iirc, and that was "General Leo, I believe I understand what you're trying to say". I don't think that means that she likes him, but only that she understands what he means.

Edgar would wish that a 19-year-old general in a white cape and a green swimsuit would be in love with him.

Celes likes Locke a lot more than she likes Edgar. It should be obvious in the course of the game. (And it also served as one of the less interesting parts of the game.)

That was Terra's biggest theme, her search for love and understanding. She complains to Locke early on that she's never felt love before. Right before the final battle, she says something like "I know what love is!" I always figured that she learned how to love life and all her friends after her interactions with the other characters and the children of Mobliz.

I thought Locke was going to hook up with Terra until the Opera when I knew it was going to be Celes and Locke. While the game never showed them in any romantic situation it is pretty obvious.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view

First when Celes wakes up in the WofR and if Cid dies she finds Lockes bandana and then she has strength to go look for the others, then after they find Locke in the Phoneix Cave and Locke goes back to try to revive Rachel, Celes is right there waiting for him, then when they are all escaping Kefka's Tower Locke and Celes are shown together and Locke has to save her.

It was obvious Celes liked Locke from the first time they met...and I can't think of a singel time she did anything to make me even consider her likeing Edgar.

Its obvious that Locke and Celes have that love connection. I think Edgar did have something for Terra though. Just go back to the game and look at what Edgar said to Terra in the Returner's hideout before they did their missions.

Truth be told, I was thinking of mentioning that but I thought people would think I was crazy! It's been so long since I finished the game so I don't remember why I got the idea that there was chemistry between the two, but I'm in the WoR so maybe I'll see a plot scene soon.

I think the translation of the Japanese version has something more obvious than that, as I remember.
