yeah, I just checked some stat blocks for monsters and bosses, and some of them are immune to earth damage?.... huh.gif This is quite confusing. As far as I know, there are no earth attacks or spells in the game. However, some monsters and bosses seem to be immune to it. What's this about? I would love some light shed on this subject.

There's the Quake (QAKE in the NES version) spell that the Black Mage/Wizard can use. It causes instant death but is still earth elemental.

Thanks, I was very confused. However, this brings up another question, if a monster is immune to instant death, is it immune to quake? Or does it need to be immune to earth elemental attacks, not instant death.

There are monsters immune to Quake but not Death and vice versa. And obviously some that are immune to both or neither spell at all.
