How exactly do i get Excalipoor at the auction house. I mean, i know how to get it, but is there a fast way to earn the gil to be able to afford it, cuz i have to bid over 500,000 gil just to get it.

I tried fighting the cactaur for 10,000 gil per battle, but then gigantaur coes and the cactaur are nowhere to be found...

PS: sorry bout the weird title name...

Gigantaur appears in only ONE specific tile in the desert. Its in the SW corner. Avoid him and you'll be fine.

The Cactuar don't stop coming after you kill the big guy. Usually you spend several battles fighting the sand worms, and then you get about five against the cactuars again. If memory serves both are worth 10,000 gil, the worms are just more annoying to fight as you can't one shot them.

Just fight in the desert south of Maranda with the Cat-Ear Hood on. After about 25 battles or so, you'll make 500,000 Gil (20,000 Gil a battle).

Bet an Impartisan (Imp Halberd) at the Coliseum. Tyrannosaurs drop them regularly, and if you've been levelling up it shouldn't take long to earn one.

Wells here what I did to get it (It was long but worth it) Go to the area around the dino forest and beat all the monsters there, but dont go into the forest. Soon if you eqiup the growth egg, you'll get quick lvl up and money. If you cast death on the worms in the desert btw its a one hit kill. to winn against them

I just kept fighting around Maranda until i got about 100,000 gil, after that point it seems to go realtively quickly. I also made a few trips fighting bosses and enemies in kefka's tower. Basically i cleared all but one of the bosses before the actual fight with kefka occurs. Then when i had enough i got a couple thousand more to stock up on healing items afterwards. Then i bet on the sword. It's a good way to get money quickly, plus you can level yourself up for the fight.

The around Narshe in the WoR is also good for earning money, especially when fighting the leap frogs with the cat ear hood.
