Biography

The head of the Church of Glabados, his political power is surpassed only by that of the king. His ambitions reach higher, though, wishing to shift Ivalice into a theocracy under his command. To that end, he has used his Knights Templar under Vormav to surreptitiously find the Zodiac Stones so that he can use them to sway the will of the people.

The Zodiac Stones mean more to the Lucavi, though, and their influence over the very soldiers tasked to acquire them is Funeral's undoing. When he demands the stones, he is attacked by his knights and left to die in his own chapel.

High Priest of the Murond Glabados Church. Although not in full power, still has enough executive powers. But it could be said that the High Priest of the Church has power equal to that of the King. There are Temple Knights who secure the safety of the High Priest.

As the High Priest of the Murond Glabados Church, he masterminded the Lion War. Revived the powers of the Church, which was lost during the Fifty Year War. His ambition is to raise the power of the Church higher than that of the King. While urging Prince Larg and Prince Goltana, he is collecting the Holy Stones, as well as trying to capture the hearts of the people.

As the High Priest of the Murond Glabados Church, he masterminded the Lion War. Revived the powers of the Church, which was lost during the Fifty Year War. His ambition is to raise the power of the Church higher than that of the King. But, he is acutally being used by Lucavi, who is seeking control, as the High Priest is eventually killed by Lucavi.
