Biography

The youngest of the four Beoulve children, Alma is Ramza's only full sibling, born from Barbaneth's second wife. While Ramza bonded with Delita as children, Alma did the same with Tietra given their similar ages, and the two attend school together. Alma has a positive and upbeat personality, and a caring nature.

Early in the story, Ramza and Alma meet briefly, where she confides her upset in not being able to fully protect Tietra from the abuse of their noble peers at school. Soon after, Alma loses her best friend to kidnapping and death, after which point she starts to become disillusioned with the life in House Beoulve. When she's able, she briefly joins with her closest brother on the path to rescue Ovelia, a friend from their time shared together studying at Orbonne as children. Unfortunately, this results in Alma being captured as well, as her soul reacts to the Zodiac stones, leading the Knights Templar to believe that she is the key to resurrecting their master. While Ramza and his party of loyalists are eventually able to track Alma past the gates of the Necrohol, and catch up to her, her fate remains shrouded in mystery even to the Durai Papers.

Since birth, Alma has spent almost her entire life within a monastery, and has only recently returned to live in the Beoulve manse. Because of their similar circumstances—and closeness in age—she finds favor with Ramza over her elder siblings.
