I'm trying to get the mythril from the dude but he gave me a bolt ring. Now he just says the huge materia line. Am I doomed to be on lvl three with aeris forever?

Doesn't the last two digits of the number of battles you've had determine this? I don't remember for sure...
In any case, Possible spoilers: highlight to view why not just let her be shishkebobbed? I don't even use Aerith anymore, I see it as a waste of time, unless you have to have done everything or something. -------------------- |

Nah Great Gospel is worth it.
Keep re-entering the cave with the sleeping man. He'll eventually tell you how many fights you've been in. As you know, if the last two digits are the same... -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |

Ok, cool, I got the mythril and now I got another problem. The guy isn't in his house. What do I have to do before I go back and he's there?

You have to make it past Gongaga (if I recall correctly), and then he should be back.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view If he is still not there, you may have to wait until after Cait Sith takes the Keystone from you |

no, if the last two digits are the same and *even,* you get a bolt ring. if they're the same and *odd,* you get the mythril. you cannot find this in the information here at this very website.

The point is, it's fun to use while you can. It's also the best limit in the game; except maybe Cait Sith's Slots.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view even tho she dies you can still use her for a huge part of the game and she is an awesome character. stat wise she has really good magic and when u get to the train graveyard in midgar you can get her a hugely powerful weapon for early on. for the first part of the game - use aires and you're sorted. I agree with EX-SOLDIER, he's talking sense. Aeris shouldn't be ruled out of the game because of you know what... She's easily the second best character in the game, Great Gospel and the level 3 limits being the key reason.
Also Umbrella; legendary. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |

Yeah i know what u mean she was a great Stat wise person,i always found her best use was for Magic. I never bothered to get the parasol cus Princess Guard is good enough for me. -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight.
