So, I just got a Motorola Razr V3c from Verizon, because they give you huge discounts on phones when you renew your contract. Since Tiddles did a little customizing to his, I figured I needed to as well. And since I have to one-up him whenever possible, I wanted to set up as much as possible. It's kind of tricky with a Verizon phone, you have to do a little chicanery to get into the innards; no matter, here's my CoNPhone:

When you turn it on, you get this on the inside screen:

And you hear this:

This is the image that shows up on the outside screen when you have the phone open. If it looks like Tiddles' avatar, that's because his avatar is the same screen, just for his phone.


So, yeah, that's my phone for now. If you have a tweaked phone, share and share alike.

Dude, that's awesome. I've not really tried to customize my phone (I'm too lazy) but what you've done rox. The fanciest I'll go is with some custom made (by myself) ringtones. Yes, when my phone rings, it'll play either "Journey of the Sorcerer" (theme from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) or "33" (Smashing Pumpkins).

Great, you made me want to renew my contract and get a new phone.
Not that I'm unhappy with my Sony Ericsson, but I'm itching to jump on the Razr bandwagon. Soon enough.

Regardless, that is one pimped out phone.

The FFT music definetly put it over the top

I have a lame phone. Its designed to be easy to add music, but after I added some neat tracks, I discovered that they could only be used to listen as music, NOT ringtones. The only way to get new ringtones is to download them onto the phone. How lame is that?

Bravo on your fantastic phone though. I like the chocobo!

I recently got the v3m Razr from Verizon and had quite a struggle getting it to accept my own custom ringtones, but I got it working last night, so my phone now rings with these tones, uploaded to my webspace.

Hey R51, maybe you could add something onto this site called, "FF Ringtones, When you open your phone tones, and more." That would be pretty cool. But, would you be able to give instructions on how to change the tone? Or would it be possible to make a download to let people download tones?

So my old phone met with an untimely demise, and I had to replace it with a new identical one. Unfortunately, it took me months to get back around to re-hacking, due to time issues, broken computers, etc. But I just now got everything set back up, and here's the result.

I have a V3m, so I can do a lot of the same things.
I found a site that gives all the in-depth warrenty-voiding information and programs needed, and I'm gonna try em out when I get home.

As for ringtones, I have a TON of futurama clips. The best of which are:

Zap: We need rest! The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongey, and bruised!
Amazon: IT TIME SNU-SNU!
Fry: Can't we just cuddle? ... Noooooooooo!

One of my personal favorites:

Fry: This is awesome! We're gonna be like, "Pow Pow Pow!" And they're gonna be be like, "Ahhhhhh! Pshkaoow(explosion sound)" And then We'll have pancakes to celebrate, and I'll be like, "Yum (various smacking sounds)"

And the shortest one:

Hermes: MY MANWICH!!!!!!!!!

My default ringtone is actually a digital rip of the fanfare ringtone from Advent Children, I would post it, but I'm pretty sure there is a copyright infringement based legal issue somewhere, so if anybody wants it, I can give it to them in another way. PM me or something.

I basically have Lavos as my background, and many of my ringtones are CT based. I've yet to mess with my startup and exit screens - of course, having the Motorola/Cingular combination makes it close to impossible in any case.
