Not all the sealed weapons?

He meant that you can't get both the Brave Blade and the Chicken Knife. You can only choose one. Neither of those weapons are of the 12 Sealed ones in the castle, so that bit of nomenclature was a mistake on his part.

No it wasn't. =P When you place the slabs on the alter you are only 'supposed' to be able to pick up a few. (Was it 4? I forget) However due to a programming error you can simply pick them up, then place the slabs back down again and collect more until you have them all.
You are not meant to be able to do this really, but I think everyone's happy that you can anyway. =P -------------------- The Arcana are the means by which ALL is revealed. |

I was never able to do that. I was only ever able to take three weapons with each tablet.
Are we talking the PS version or the SFamicom version, though? I've been playing the ROM and I've never touched the PS version. |

Well, I've played through the SFam version, and I distinctly remember that I could pick up 3 sealed weapons per tablet (the tablet got "used up" after I grabbed three), and the game seemed to work strictlyand intentionally like that.

Mu, if you have more than one tablet, it does what you say. You grab 3 weapons and return to the altar and the old tablet is destroyed or something. Then if you have another one, it'll be placed there and you can choose three more weapons.
I think that's what you experienced, since I know for a fact that you can only get 3 weapons per tablet, at least on the SNES version. -------------------- Is PJ |

Ahh, well, I've always thought it was a mistake given I was told to choose carefully. I've never actually gone there between tablets, I've always got them all before going there... ^^``
