Piece of cake.
Get a character with a high-enough speed, equip them with the offering/atma weapon, and hope you go first and attack. Having a character with little or no spells helps a lot. Otherwise, Chupon's a real joke. Edit: Yep you get an elexir. I don't know how much HP he has, but one attack with the offering/relic at ~9999 damage per hit kills him. So he has less than 80,000 HP. Well, actually, less than 65,536 HP. HP is stored across two bytes so it would be physically impossible to exceed without a special battle script. Which Chupon doesn't have. ![]() Kind of a shame. Any enemy can be beaten with the offering/relic, atma weapon, and a strong-enough defense-ignoring weapon, in a round. Since the atma weapon ignores defense, at full health you're sure to do 9999 damage every hit, which is 40k right off the bat. That "only" leaves 25,540 damage spread between 4 attacks (ie, 6385 per hit). If the first round doesn't kill something, the second one will. ![]() This post has been edited by Silverlance on 20th January 2005 15:42 -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Nothing quite like stocking up on Dirks in the WoB knowing full well they will all be Elixirs once my level 99 Edgar steps into battle
![]() Sometimes I like to mix it up and go Black Belt instead of the gengi glove. Sometimes he will attack and not do sneeze believe it or not. It also makes it easier if you make the character that is going to fight ONLY learn stop. Stop has always worked for me whenever Edgar would cast it (idiot just ATTACK!). That way if you see them chanting a spell you know it isn't going to be something dumb like Remedy or Fire1. Another two methods are dragon horn with the dragoon boots, and using shadow with the stunner and the runningshoes.

I think of that possibility too, but it was quite demanding..I tried with offering, black belt and the fixed dice with Setzer, but no avail I spend too much time for an elixir....kupoo.........u_u

Quote (Moglv99 @ 29th January 2005 22:34) hey the stunner is a way, but always say miss, (because he already in stop) and comes with a sneeze..., and I don`t have the atma weapon, ñ_ñ Any character and equipment setup that can do very high damage will work, doesn't have to be the atma weapon. Illumina + any other good sword can do it too. -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |
