What are, exactly, all the treasures you can dig up there?
And what is the difference between 'good' and 'normal'? This post has been edited by Eraser on 7th November 2004 09:30 |

I know you can dig up the key to get back into Midgar later in the game (which leads into getting the Premium Heart), a weapon for Vincent, and a Mop for Cid, but besides that, I don't remember.

I know you can get a Buntline (Vincent's weapon), a Mop (Cid's weapon), the Midgar Key, and maybe some potions and such.
There has been rumors that you can dig up one-time materia you may have missed (W-Item, etc.) in Bone Village, but I don't think they have much merit. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

You can get the W-Item materia there, it's just excessively hard. There doesn't seem to be any way to really determine what you'll get aside from "good" or "normal" treasure, or digging in one specific spot for the Lunar Harp (it's somewhere around the campfire, IIRC).
The difference between Good and Normal treasure, though, is that Normal almost always gets you a potion, if not always period. With Good, you at least have a chance of getting something... well, good. -------------------- ~Status Report~ * Completed... Dragon's Head * Completed... Assuming you didn't get them earlier, W-item is in there, as well as (I think) the huge materia.
I can personally attest to the W-item one, since I missed picking it up in my playthrough of the game and spent far more time than I should have excavating it later on. (The sole reason I bothered to get the materia was because of an item-duplication trick I read about.) |

Quote There has been rumors that you can dig up one-time materia you may have missed (W-Item, etc.) in Bone Village, but I don't think they have much merit. That is true. Any Materia you missed for good can be dug up there. I think this applies to weapons and armor too. -------------------- //www.rpgmaker.net/ We make games. Period. |
