Ah yes.. Shadow is great. Great story, a ninja, and an ex-thief with a badass dog, what could beat that?

Relm was the BEST!!!Why am I the only one so far who voted for her?!?!?!?! Using her control ability you could get Strago's Lores EXTREMELY easily and you could make a Pug use Step-Mine on it's self

I like shadow, but I also like the other characters. I don't really have a favorite, but if I did I would go with shadow.

Oo, I like me some Shadow. The whole "Mess with me, and don't be surprised to find a missing limb or five in the morning" attitude appealed to me.

I voted for Edgar. Of all the characters, he seems the most deep and human to me. This is pretty strange considering the fact that he's a king, and kings in games are typically (or stereotypically) very detached and, well . . . kingly.
At several points in the game, Edgar is thrust into a position as leader of the party. This has been going on throughout his whole life, in fact. It is obvious that he is uncomfortable in that position - it seemed obvious to me that he would have been much happier had it been him, rather than Sabin, who had left Figaro. He doesn't want to be the leader, but he must be because he's the best man for the job, and he never complains about it. He covers up for his unhappiness by his clumsy chase of women, but even that seems to disappear later in the game, when the situation is just weighing too heavily on him. -------------------- Always hopeful, yet discontent; he knows changes aren't permanent -- But change is! |

Gogo would have been my first choice, but he wasn't an option, so I had to choose Sabin. His Blitzs are very useful, and are nice source of mana free damage.

myself i would have to go with locke!!!!!!!!!!! he just like most people in real life, losing someone they loved dearly!!! he was the coolest character who tried to act all calm, but inside he was tearing away at himself for his lost love...plus he was the REAL ladies man! terra and celes owed him their lives! DUH
![]() p.s. sorry for not posting for a long time...some friends of mine were involved in a car accident and ive been in mourning for awhile now...out of the three we only lost one, but he was a close friend..................... ![]() -------------------- First you live And then you die So **** the world LETS GET HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Yours truly~ |

Shadow, beyond a doubt. The epitome of the dark, mysterious, and overwhelmingly cool RPG ninja. He simply redefined the idea of a cold-hearted hero. His past is tragically enigmatic, and his whole being radiates an aura of mystery. Plus, he has a really cool outfit. Not to mention that his Throw ability and powerful statistics makes him one of the strongest fighters in the game. To top it all off, his canine companion Interceptor is one tough customer.
Of course, I love each and every one of the FFVI characters (excluding Locke) in their own way. Close runners-up would include Terra, Edgar, and Sabin for character, and Mog for being a moogle. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. I've explained it before, but my favorite character is Relm because it's so fun to explain to your friends that you have an all-powerful, smart-mouthed ten year old girl travelling around with you that can kill dinosaurs and evil blobs with a simple attack from a paintbrush.

Sorry to hear that. My condolences. I voted for Sabin BTW. My favorite would have to be Shadow

Setzer. I find it interesting that those who like other charecters feel like they have to give reasons. Setzer fans just say "Setzer, need I say more?"
Well, need I? I didn't think so. Edit I just redread this... darn was I cocky when I first joined. This post has been edited by Iain Peregrine on 20th November 2004 23:12 |

I voted for Relm, but she's not my first choice.
Now I know the technical difficulites some times but...who in thier right hemisphere (psychlogy joke) would put Strago instead of Gogo or Umaro? BUt leaving out the BIG MAN, Cyan is a seriousm problem that makes this poll, in my opinion, totally useless in statistical value! -------------------- Really Random Quote of the Day: "Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war." - Richard M. And also, I think he was saying that he never missed the blitz input, not that the blitz itself missed.

YO! This is one hard poll! I'd say Cyan by terms of fighting skill, Gogo for hhis multiabilities...but I definetly vote Aki...I mean Locke (I named him Aki. I always name my first male character Aki, if I can).

Merged topics.
I would have removed the poll, since it only has 10/14 options, but it already has a load of votes on it which may as well stay. You can always choose someone else though! Just null the vote and write about it. This post has been edited by Tiddles on 11th September 2003 11:15 |

... Why isn't Kefka on this poll?
![]() Eh, Terra. Her inner struggle is interesting to watch. ![]() -------------------- Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do. Money can't buy you happiness.
