Items that I can't even use...(FF7)

In FF7 I sometime recieve these items like 1/35 soldiers, Masamune Blade, Tissue, the Sweeper thing, and more other items that I might not even know about...
I get these items from Gold Saucer Speed game...and Battle Square and I don't even know how to use these items? or there isn't any way of using them... why give me items that I can't even use.... are these items used in some kind of special event? -------------------- Auron might be good, but I'm better...=p* My first visits....: *Returning from home-Returner *Trying to find a Cactuar Costume for Halloween-Cactuar *Treasure hunting for more shiny things, & candy-Treasure Hunter Current Location: *Crusading hell, I want to assasinate Satan but don't tell him what my plan is okay....?-Crusader |

I have heard that with the Tissue, it's there to be a hindrance to you. The more Tissues you have, the harder it is to win in the battle mini game.

i believe he's refering to the Super Sweeper . supposedly, you can trade it to the old man in Condor Mt. before you get Clowd back from the lifestream. he'll give you the Tiny Bronco which is now able to fly. bs if you ask me. lol.

They're all BS items. There's nothing you can do with them.

I ended up with a couple of 1/35 of a soldier... is this some sort of sidequest or something that may give you another character??? (this is the only possible explination that i can think of for that item to make sense...)

i dont know about most items,but i do know about the soldiers.you know,cait siths slot limit?wel if you get 3 crowns(or sumtin else,its been a while since i used it)some soldiers jump out and shoot.the more of 1/35 soldiers you have,the stronger it is.

I thought the Tissue thing was true as well, but I can't seem to find a reliable source that mentions it now. Perhaps it is just another dodgy rumour.
There is certainly no use for the others. |

I've heard that that the full set of 8 (?) 1/35 soldiers can be displayed in your villa, should you choose to purchase it. I can't substantiate this; it's just something I've seen.

Elena's Rumor: I have been getting those, and I haven't seen any difference. The only thing could be giving you bad options on the handicap slot machine, but I haven't noticed any significant change in that either.

gosh...what are those Japanese people up too... I don't like this... maybe gamefaqs haven't even thought about this... and whatever Zephir said...every item has to a use to something...why would Japanese people give you useless items that just take up space...Japanese game makers aren't that stupid to do that... or maybe there just boobie prizes saying I did a battle square mini game today, or I got over 3000 pts on the Speed game... Consider for a moment... thousands of people have tried to use those items a billion different ways and in all these years has any one of those rumors even bumped from a rumor to a full-blown game fact?

I believe the 1/35 soldiers are bogus. Masamune, however, is actually Sephiroth's sword, if you haven't noticed, but of course it does you no good. The Umbrella you can get is actually usable, if you still have Aeris. It's her uber strong no-materia-slot weapon.

I'm starting to think that Square made all of those little prizes and Gold Saucer games (beside the Arena and Chocobo Races) to inspire and endless stream of rumors.

I have heard the thing that Malevolence mentioned about the Super Sweeper and the Tiny Bronco is true but I've never actually done it myself, as for the tissue I ran a search about a year ago in a bunch of walkthroughs to find a use for it and the only thing I could find was that they had no use at all... one guy suggested that it was probably due to the fact that teh game was not complete due to the forced early release, but I don't know.
