I always liked the town Strago is from. (i am TERRIBLE with town names, it was over a year since i played the game last)
the people there have some natural magic powers, they are kinda the guardians of the warring triads, decent strength monsters, the air there would be pretty clean since i didn't notice much machinery there, just the odd oven here and there.

It's Thamasa. I like it too. It's the most unique town in the game.

I was sad when they tried to burn it down.

Zozos probably my favourite, even despite the random encounters it was so much fun happy.gif and you get the chainsaw. You just gotta love that thing. Narshe is awesome too, because of the moogles and Umaro and all the snow =)
And Thamasa, that place is mint.

I'm pretty sure that you mean the town of Thamasa. thumbup.gif

Nikea - cause of all the hustle and bustle in the marketplace, and it's really big port.

Exactly, I like Nikeah for the same reason, but also Mobliz because it is also a little beehive of activity with the kids and carrier pidgeons, etc....
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
But not Mobliz in WoR... it has a cool storyline with Terra but ... what happened to the town is just way too depressing

That was one of the saddest storylines in the game. Especially when

they show the parents sacrificing themselves for their children. I'm not a parent, but I'm sure that will be even more touching when I am. I like the whole story with Terra helping the orphans and loosing her fighting spirit, then gaining it back after defeating Phunbaba. It was really great.

Right! I forgot about that... I'm playing FF6 for the first time in three years and right now I am just levelling up on the floating continent, so I forget much of what happens in the WoR except for the basics. Cyan's story is sad for exactly the same reasons as Terra/Mobliz,

...like when you defeat the phantom train and the train takes his wife and kid into the afterlife... really gut-wrenching ....
But I forget Cyan's story in the WoR.... I'm sure its still equally sad though sad.gif

Nikeah's hustle, Zozo's music, Jidoor's classyness and South Figaro because of Locke's memorable sequence.

I like Thamasa, Jidoor, and South Figaro, because of ease of navigation. I know where everything is in those towns tongue.gif
