| Finally! After countless redos and redraws, I finally finished my Barbariccia. I wanted to get her done way back last year right after Rubicante, but just couldn't get the right pose. Then I moved. Then other projects came up. Lo and behold, months later, I started sketching her again just to finish these four up. Drew a pose I liked, inked it, and then started coloring. Normally, I can color a full piece in about 2 days. She took about 5 weeks. I kept on trying different things with her hair and just couldn't get anything to look good, until I stumbled on what you see now. Ultimately, I am happy with with how she came out, as I am with all of the Four Fiends. Rubicante is still my favorite. He really proved tough to top. Phew..okay! All done! | This is great stuff! I especially love the partially petrified arms. Not only does it bring some much needed variety to her color palette (you know, insofar as grey can do that), but also I like the thematic element. Truly, great stuff! I can't wait to see more! | |
