Skies of Arcadia for PS2 Canned

http://www.gamesarefun.com/newspro....,12026,

The PS2 port of Skies of Arcadia has been cancelled. The game, however, will still be ported to the GameCube.

Halloween = Nostalgia Day!

Square confirmed that the release dates for Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 2 will be October 31st in Japan. They will be sold as seperate games, but buyers can get a limited edition containing both games in Japan. Still no word on a US release date, but we can still be hopeful. Both games feature upgraded music, graphics, and cutscenes. ^_^

Phantasy Star Online Now Available For PC!

Windows
http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q3-2002/073102c.html

Yes kids, this wonderful Dreamcast classic is now available for play on the PC.  Probably one of my top 10 favorite games, PSO is a blast to play either online or just by yourself, but with a PC version, you don't have to buy any new-fangled cords and stuff to play on the network.  I'm buyin' it!

EDIT:  Apparently an XBox and Gamecube edition are also in the works for those of you with those systems.  Stay tuned!

Ziff-Davis

http://www.gamesarefun.com/newspro....,36928,

Ziff-Davis, the company that makes magazines such as EGM and Expert Gamer, is rumored (and pretty much confirmed) to have filed for bankruptcy. Supposedly this will not affect the magazines they publish, but it would suck if EGM died, because a whole lot of people get. Heh.

Kingdom Hearts Nearly Done

Square Enix
Gamespot just got a hold of a nearly-complete copy of Kingdom Hearts. It looks as if they're toning down the Disney part of it just a bit - while Donald and Goofy are part of your party, the Disney universe won't be taking over Square in this particular installment.

I'm a  bit behind on the news for this game, so I'll not go any further to avoid being redundant. But if you're looking for the full review from Gamespot, look below:
