The World Ends With You Announced for Switch
TWEWY never really did it for me on DS; I found the art style interesting but overly complicated and in the way of the gameplay, and the constant switching between the two screens to be a chore. The graphics still look pretty busy in the announcement video, but perhaps moving it to the larger screen will make it more playable. In any event, the game should find a new audience when released for the first time on console, and it will be coming sometime this year.

Today I learned I must be using a pin avatar from this game. I even own the game, but never got very far in it...whoops. Interesting concept and for what they set out to do they executed well I suppose...just not my kind of game. Still, any news revolving around ports and an expanded library for any console is excellent news. | |
