New Moderator Fun

Again, I never can make these things happen fast enough for people not to notice before I can say something. So a lot of you probably already know that we've got a new block of moderators joining up today.

We selected some people that we can work with, who have good dispositions, at least some smarts, and some knowledge of moderation tactics. Our new game forum moderators also will display a nice big chunk of specific knowledge to the games they will be modding.

So, welcome to our new moderators!

Mr Thou, upgraded to Global Moderator

Hanyou, a Global Moderator

Sabin, moderating Final Fantasy IV

Caesar and Djibriel , moderating Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI

Super Moogle, moderating our General Topics and Gaming forums

We sincerely hope that these new folks will keep up the completely oppressive and "Nazi"-ish method of moderating forums that you all have come to expect and enjoy.

On another note, we will be adding some folks in the very near future to help with maintenance tasks around the site - we have already selected a few and will be letting you all know when they start to get cranking.

	I'm enthusiastic about the job like you couldn't imagine. CoN's FF V and FF VI boards are nice and fuzzy, and if I can do my part in protecting it from its enemies (spam, hate, capitalism), I'll gladly do it for great justice. First actions as a moderator so far have only included getting a lovely avatar and putting up an actual photo of me so you can all see who you're dealing with. I haven't found me some evil-doers yet, but I suppose that's exactly what we want in the end. I'll try my best in continuing CoN's often-scorned yet extremely effective policy.

	Oh my... I would have liked to be the moderator of the FFT forum, yet I don't want to steal shutgonnova's place if he wants it. Even if taht forum doesn't need much moderatig... And yes R51, maybe you should talk before you act since it makes this thread a lil pointless Keep it up guys!

All I meant was that I knew it before I saw the actual topic So reading this one was a --> ÂLITTLE <-- pointless since I knew already that Ceasar, Djibriel, Hayou & Mr Thou became moderators No offense really Well the other way I would have been surprised to see that there were new mods, now you're gonna say that the same thing happened while I checked the gray stars under their avatar, but whatever I like typing so just forget everything I typed, is taht all right with you? 	Well, I am going to go ahead and second Djibriel's post: I am thrilled to be part of the staff and moderator of the FFV and FFVI forums. Those are my two favorite FF games, if not RPGs in general, so modding them will be great. As for the avatar, I'm gonna see if I can't get a penguin sprite to fill the place of Golbez for a little while. Unlike, Dji, however, I don't have a photo of me on file, so I guess you'll hafta wait either until I become dedicated enough to take a digital picture and upload it and such or until I find a scanner able to scan photos fairly decently. Or, you know, until I take over the world, after which you can see my face on all the billboards you see. Btw, Dji, what's your avatar? It looks like an oil spill.

	I'd like to thank everyone for their comments, and the lovely staff here for this position. Lord knows we performed enough sexual favors for some sort of recognition around here. To answer your question GMH, no we didn't have to choose Final Fantasy themed avatars. Surprisingly, some of us liked the Final Fantasy series and wanted to use something that shows our devotion to it.
