New Final Fantasy Coming to the PSP

While I wouldn't bet that this spells the end of Square Enix's penchant for churning out remakes of popular games, the company that brings us the Final Fantasy series is set to give PSP owners something worth coveting: a brand-new Final Fantasy game.

Tentatively titled Dissidia, the new game in the franchise may represent a break from the rest of the series. For one thing, it lacks a number, and, for another, the tagline on the site states that "fantasy has no limited form."

Will this be a real Final Fantasy game, or is the name being borrowed to test-drive a new series? Sadly, it seems that only PSP owners will be in a position to find out.

	Wasn't Dissidia supposed to be part of the Fabula Nova Crystalis project? Has it now been split off entirely?

	link of sadness I thought it would be good to get another FF on the psp, but now I want to throw up my lungs. Ehrgeiz was enough.

	is it just going to be a smash bros type game for ff characters? or will there be any storyline?

	from what i've read, its like a smash bros for final fantasy characters, but with leveling up. if that is correct, then i think it will turn out to be a fun game. i love smash, but i doubt dissidia could be as good as smash. still, even if the gameplay isn't that great, it would still be fun to play as final fantasy characters.

	if u hack ur psp or have firmware 3.03 or higher u can play psx games on it...like final fantasy 1-9 and tactics. i got 8 on my psp. Moderator Edit You're only partially correct and this isn't on-topic, anyway.
