Final Fantasy VII Remake Delayed a Month
Hopefully not much longer than that, of course. Today, Square Enix announced that the previous release date for the remake, March 3, has now been pushed back about five weeks to a new date of April 10. A press release from the Remake team quotes producer Yoshinori Kitase as saying that it was a "tough decision" to "apply final polish."
I didn't realize just how close we were getting to the original release date until I read this news; I suppose that one delay like this isn't so bad, but let's not make a habit of it, eh?

So now it'll be competing with Cyberpunk 2077, huh? Not that I personally care about a remake of FF7 (would've preferred a remaster), but I still find that kind of interesting. Granted, that's assuming CP 2077 isn't delayed, as well.
And there it is, heh. CP 2077 delayed as well. Should've expected as much.

@Rangers51 Yep, saw the news earlier today, and I kind of feel like it's FF7 that's in luck, haha. But I'm sure the delays will benefit them both.

Honestly, I'm happy they've spaced the games out a bit more. Now I have time to play Doom Eternal and Resident Evil 3 first. In theory at least!
