Final Fantasy Tactics on Playstation Network?
Although, to be fair, most people who were interested in Final Fantasy Tactics picked it up when it was released on the PSP. Hoorah for yet another re-release. Next up, Final Fantasy IV! Again!

Hey it's not that bad first Final Fantasy IV was only released four times because the third remake was in 3d. And Final Fantasy IV The After is a sequel therefore despite having the same graphics as the original is a new game. And finally I don't know the exact details but as far as I can see Tactics is being released on the Playstaion3 equivalent of Wii's Virtual Console. Of which is just an excuse for companies to release old games in single form to make more Money rather than release $20 compilations that are safely on a disk. Rather than on a memory card or hard drive where if that brakes or anything else you have to not only replace the card, hard drive or system but the games you download as well and they are twice as expensive. So honestly why complain about PS Network or VC or X Box Live anyways they are nothing but ripoffs anyways.

I think I understand you here, but I'm not quite sure, to be honest. But if you're saying that you have to replace downloaded games if your system goes down, well, I'm not sure from where you're downloading games, but I'd look elsewhere. I'm not aware of any of the major downloadable games outlets that makes you repurchase games if your hardware for storing them goes down, at least not the first time, or even the second. Does PSN actually do that?

Quote Does PSN actually do that? Not sure and I don't think I want to find out. PS3 is too expensive to pour water on to test if I can keep the games on it. Wii maybe cause it's cheaper but then again I like mine. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see when my systems get old. But all I'm saying is that if they are going to re-release a game at least make a disk with multiple games on it. And maybe I can see where y'all are coming from cause Final Fantasy 1-6 should have just been put on disk together back on PS1.Especially when most people not really me but most didn't care fore the data consuming 3D Movies in V and VI and in IV on PS1 not DS the movies looked awful. They should have put the games on one disk. And while GBA couldn't be helped being one game per cart (then again there was Dawn Of Souls) but anyways did we really need GBA ports especially with the second PS1 with a screen and charge base made for it. Making it a little bulky but still portable. But I still stand by FF IV on DS and hope to see V and VI on DS or maybe PSP but I'd say keep it all on one system. Even though I'm happy with the originals. ![]()

Quote (Rangers51 @ 23rd June 2009 15:52) Does PSN actually do that? PSN remembers what youve downloaded on your account, so if your harware is damaged, and then replaced, you can go onto your account on PSN and re-download it for free.

And with the Wii. Reformatted or replaced hard-drives can redownload VC and WiiWare games for free as long as its still linked to your Nintendo account.

The last several posts have really reinforced my point, even though I already knew what Microsoft and Nintendo did ( ![]()
