Final Fantasy IV DS Gets Official NA Release

Yes, we all knew it was coming. Who couldn't? But now we have a real date: 22 July 2008. On top of that, the new site for the North American release is up and ready, with a pretty-cool splash page as well.

Unfortunately, AmaCoN doesn't yet have the title ready for preorder (merely the OST), but I'll keep everyone posted once it shows up.

From what I've seen and heard, this game is a must-play for DS owners. If anyone would like to buy me a DS, I'll be inclined to try it out and agree.

	Alright. Laszlow's rumor about the release date was true. I don't have a DS either. I won't buy one, but instead, I have a friend who will let me borrow hers if I buy the game myself. I wouldn't even consider buying a DS for this remake, because I have the PS remake in my possession. And I have a PlayStation. Yes, I know the new remake is pretty and they've changed some stuff around, but I'd rather buy the DS for FFIII, since you can't find it in the U.S. in any other format.

	So it is July 22nd? I just have to say, I'm very excited. ...Even if I can't get another game till Christmas. My mom's pretty strict on that... But wow. This makes me happy. I can't wait! Such a wonderful game. Let's see Rydia in 3D!

	Great! Time to shell out more money for a game we've all played already... Despite that, however, I'm very interested in all the new features that they'll be addng to this release. Can't wait to see the FFIV cast grace the screen of my DS, this time in full 3D! Now, if only they would make a FFVI DS....

	I'm definitely going to be picking this up. FFIV has always been on the top of my favorites list and while I enjoyed the GBA port, the idea of having the same game on my DS, in 3d, and with voice acting? From what I've seen from the screens of the Japanese release, it's going to be pretty awesome.

	All I can say is...sweet. I played 4 when I was a lot younger and never found another copy. And I never got the GBA version

	And now they've confirmed that a PAL release in Europe: "Summer." Sounds like it's going to be pretty close to the same time as in the US, really. Still no AmaCoN links, though. darn it.
