Oh, wow. I don't really know what more I can say - this is really incredible. The detail on the ghost wisps being integrated with the train itself really is stunning. Awesome job!

It took me several seconds of looking to see the actual ghosts, and I was the one approving the thing from the admin queue. Once I saw them, I really had a bit of a jaw-drop moment. ![]()

Okay, i can see the ghosts, but not the train (except for the bell). Where's the train? ^ TV Tropes no longer allows remote embedding. Host it using your own photobucket or whatever. Moderator Edit Or he could just type out a few words and save us all an image macro, which is a hackneyed concept anyway. ![]()

Wow, absolutely awesome. The detail in all those secondary-ghosts is amazing. I suppose that my only suggestion would be that the train is a bit faint; I can see its bottom bit but it gets a bit lost in the translation farther up. Not too big of an issue though, this is a sweet piece of art!

Oooh, that's good! In fact it almost looks alive (or do I mean dead?) ![]()

Thanks guys; I'm glad at least some of you can make out the train. I guess I should have spent more time tweaking it to make it more visible. Here's a quick description of the train; maybe that will help:
See the yellow circle in the middle? That's the headlight, which is in the center of the front side of main engine cylinder where the furnace is and stuff (apparently it's called the 'smokebox', and on the top front corner hags the bell). Just below the headlight is a black rectangle with the engine number. Below the smokebox (the big cylinder), you might be able to make out some railings coming up on the left and right sides above the bumper (not sure the technical name for the bumper), and below that is the 'grill' (or is it called the 'footboards' or 'pilot'?). It's a hodgepodge of about 4 different trains, so I couldn't give you a reference photo. Oh well, I'm glad you guys like it anyway. ![]()

This is at least among the top 10 fanarts on this site, probably top 5. And its hard to say which among them are better.

This is really awesome, but I have just one question: can it be suplex'd?

One thing that I got caught on was how the yellow headlight, the grill beneath it, and the ghost-face just to the left actually combine to look like a grotesque face (the grill being the mouth and the face and light being eyes). It looks vaguely fishlike (so I was even thinking Rizopas for a moment) and even sports the bell like a top-hat. The wisps around it conspire to make that area look like a head.

It's funny, but I don't remember taking a hit of LSD.

You should've added Sabin throwing the train around!
Just kidding, it looks amazing.

It's an inspired method, that's for sure. Achieved a nice ethereal effect, that you did.
