| This is definately a different style than I usually employ. I was inspired to do this particular drawing after reading a 1979 issue of a watercolour magazine. It featured an article on an artist who was a book illustrator. The figures were very lithe and have a rather high odd angle. With this drawing, I felt like putting in odd details like pockets, rank insignias, etc. This was a one shot pen drawing that I did between assignments for calculus.
